St Christopher's Bauhaus Budget Hotel

“Great staff however I was extremely disappointed with the cleaniness. Our room had a strong damp smell as the carpet had been wet and don't expect much sleep. The walls are paper thin in the building with the double rooms.

“I never stayed in the hostel because when I arived there after having reserved a room with "private bathroom" I found out that what you call bathroom was just simply a SHOWER. I have travelled arround the world and I have stayed in several hostels, hotels and B & B from all different types and qualities. I have stayed in hostels and shared the bathroom many times. But I dont like arriving to a place and find out that the information is misleading. I dont have complaints regards the staff. They gave me my money back. SO please dont contact me again.... unless you want to give me the money I paid for the reservation back!!! :)

“I was very happy to recieve your e-mail regarding comments on Bauhaus Budget Hotel. Our stay was not an enjoyable one, and we were forced to move out of the hotel after our first night. When we arrived on Friday night we were given room 55, as we walked into the room it was over run by flies. After complaining we were moved to room 56. This room was slightly better. When we came back to collect our room key on saturday evening, we were told that our luggage had been moved back to room 55. We were unaware that this had been done, and were not pleased that people had moved our personal belongings. When we walked back into room 55 on saturday night it was now covered with all the died flies that had been flying around the night before! As you can imagine we were not happy, and as the bar was busy and there was no one to talk this issue over with, we decided to leave and find another hotel. We have photographic evidence to back up our claims. We were also disappointed to find that althougth I had clicked 'Ensuite' when booking the rooms, not all the room had a toilet. I hope these comments will be taken on board and I look forward to your reply.
