“The room was not cleaned during our stay. We had to ask for more toiletpaper and towels. The shower was full of hair so the water could not run freely down the drain... The beds were not pleasant due to hard springs. The fan in the bathroom had not been cleaned for months. All in all we were not happy. I'm sorry.

“Overall it is a very dirty hotel. We had room 25 and 33. Shower curtain in room 25 was moldy and dirty. There was no soap and towel in the rooms. The curtains va very dirty with big black spots and even the sheets were stained. The doors gnashed sharply. No TV in the hotel worked. Kings Hotel Never again!

“Terrible room placed in the basement. Very bad breakfast: cornflakes and toast with only one type of marmalade. If you are going to stay in the King's Cross area, choose one of the many others small hotels in the area.

“This is the worst quality "hotel" I ever stayed in! It is noisy, it stincks and smells after Indian food all the time, the owner is rude and not polite, they do not clean the room, lot of flies in the room, no airco, no towel and no soap in the room(had to ask for it) Sorry to tell but this location is not worth to be called a hotel at all! I suggest(BOO/ Booking.com and Easyjet to remove this so called hotel from the internet as the owner was also complaining to me that I paid TO LESS!!! But what I paid was advised on the internet!!!

“Das Hotel gleicht einer Baustelle! Die Matratzen teilweise unbrauchbar (zB Zimmer 18). Frühstück sehr basic mit Plastikbesteck und Papptellern! Poor King!! P.S.: sehr ruhige Wohngegend mit guter Verkehrsanbindung am King´s Cross und einigen Lokalen, wo man günstig essen kann. Es gibt noch viele andere Hotels in der Umgebung....

“WORST HOTEL IN THE WORLD (NOT ONLY IN ENGLAND)!!! Dirty beds and toiletts, awful smells in the whole hotel. If I could upload pictures, I would, because it´s not to say what you see there. We did´nt stay there. because it was horrible, but we payed the deposit of 10 % and we want to get it back. Go away from this place as fast as you can.

“Worst hotel in the world (not only in England). After arrivig we decided not to stay there. Beds were awful dirty, toilets too. A look outside the window was not able because of dirt. A smell like dead animals in the hotel everywhere. We had to pay a 10% deposit and we want it back. Leave this hotel a fast as you can. Das schlechteste Hotel, das ich meinem Leben gesehen habe. Die Betten saudreckig,die Toilette ebenfalls. Zimmer im Souterain, deren Fenster sich nicht verschliessen lassen. Waende ohne Tapete, Gerüche, die nicht auszuhalten sind. Und dann eine Anzahlung von 10%, die wir zurueck erstattet haben wollen. ir haben keine Nacht dort geschlafen, wei das echt eine Zumutung gewesen wäre. Am besten man verschwindet von dort und zwar so schnell man kann.

“The rooms are clean and tidy. There's even a TV in ours. The central location is quiet and that's good for London. The owner's always on hand. You should not expect anything of the breakfast. Plastic cutlery and paper plates. But the cups for coffee or tea are made of china. It's a perfect place if you need your room for sleeping only, compared to hotels with the same standard that cost even more.

“This was realy bad. No reception, only two narrow doors, that need to be painted, in from the street. Narrow stairs up to 3rd floor, a real fire-trap. The room had no place for the suitcase, no towels or soap. The WC seat was broken. Dusty bath-ventilator. The beds failed the upper mattrass, so you felt you slept directly on the springs. The breakfast was OK, but the cup was dirty. No dishing-machine.

“Bad services - breakfast was cornflakes and cofee.Dirty and cheap in the breakfast room.Bedroom was okey - BUT, no soap no small shampoo and only 1 towel for the hole weekend. Tried to have a cab back to airport and a minicab cost 61 pound - it was a friend !!! Be ordered it self and payed 45 pound...hm.. The Kings is not a HOTEL - only a place to sleep, but it was quiet and we slept well.Never going back to the hotel.

“First we were planed for a room which was under the surface, dirty aud with insects - terrible. By paying something more (45.-€per room per night)we got a quite good room. The environement and the connection to the underground is really good.

“It was a terrible hotel. Not at all according to pictures and impression on the website. It had dirty bed covers, dirty carpets, holes in the tiles in the bathroom (was very scared rats would come out). Unfriendly service. Lowest score possible. Do not check into this hotel unless you can accept dirtyness and poor service.

“The Hotel was not a nice place to stay the shower still had the previous guests shompoo sachets still in the shower cubicle the heating was off at 18.30 so it was cold no info on where the breakfast was and no one around in the morning to ask we booked 3 night but could only stick it for 2 sorry would not recommend

“we were very dissatisfied with the accomdation.their add on the internet is totally misleading, we booked with the understanding that it was a reasonable hotel, with a room ensuite and a proper breakfast! we only stayed 1 night of the 3 booked and we didnt even stay for the "breakfast".we have never witnessed accomodation as poor as this before.

“While staying in the hotel someone gained access to my room and went through mine and my partners bags. They took my partners mobile phone and used it after adding their name and number to the contact list and taking a picture of themselves on the toilet. Not only was this unacceptable, it was disgusting and I will be letting the police know if I do not recieve a satisfactory response from the hotel within a week. On top of the fact that my room was mouldy, dirty, smelt of chlorine, had a broken shower, tv and fridge, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

“A very run down place - I'm surprised they are allowed to operate (moldy walls in the kitchen) - only stay there, if you're on a really tight budget...If you're a clean and neat person, this place is not for you. Also, they don't mention that there is no "in-room toilet".
