Mowbray Court Hotel

“The only positive thing about this hotel was its location. It is very close to Earls court tube station in a nice area which connects directly to Tower Bridge, Heathrow Airport, and other important tourist places. I stayed in an ensuite double room (£80 per night) which was were very small and looked cheap. Duvet cover was cheap and dirty and the bathroom was very small. It is certainly not recommended for couples. I would advice it is worth exploring a better place outside Zone 1 at the same price.

“In the advertisement for the hotel on the internet, it listed a few perks such as a safe in every room, and hotel pick-up. True there was a safe in my room, but I had to pay two pounds a day for it. Also it stated airport pickup which I assumed meant it was included in the price. That too, was chargeable. Thirty-five pounds, round trip, to be exact. I think your advertisement is misleading, or at least not as clear as it should be. I think you should only list amentities that ARE included in the price. Or at least state the full story; i.e., "a safe is available at a nominal fee." "Airport pickup can be arranged through an independent company. " I also noticed that you charge a daily rate for an adapter for the electricity. I think this is very unfair. In my case, I bought a little curling brush there and had a devil of a time finding the outlet, which I finally located at the bottom of a wall, totally inaccessable to the mirror, rendering the brush quite useless. In addition, I thought the price a bit excessive for the kind of tiny room I got. And I noticed the price was different on different days. Why? The drinks in the bar were EXCESSIVELY pricey. On a positive note, I couldn't have asked for a nicer staff. Very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional clean every day. The breakfast items were exceptional, but need to be served a bit earlier for people who are early risers.
