To stay in Dublin after three weeks of walking in Ireland's country site was a welcome change. The Avalon house made this stay very comfortable with free internet acces, nice beds and a laundry room (!). With all these comforts we expected to pay a bit more (18 euro's per night), we booked the hostel in advance. But our room mate paid on the spot only 12 euro's per night which was too bad for us. But a nice stay over all.

'Before there was tourism, Avalon House catered to the thin trickle of adventurers who landed in Dublin. They flood in these days, but Avalon hasn't missed a beat in its hosting duties.'
