“This was a brilliant place to stay, close to the town centre but also far enough away to meet locals!

“This accommodation rebooked our rooms to other parties before we arrived and left us at 23.00 to find alternative accommodation. If it wasnt for the staff at The Shieling we would have had major problems.

“This was an excellent place to stay. The house is very clean and inviting. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. The food was delicious and the rooms and house were immaculate. A definite must if staying in Dublin. I also know that the owner also runs Ashling House and it would be an excellent alternative. I would highly recommend this place. The bus stops are very close by too.

“Our records showed we were to be at this location at 11:00. I don't know where that came from as we were coming from Cork. We were late in the evening due to rain and traffic. the directions for this place were horrible.. This man is the rudest person I have ever encountered. I would never recommend this place, in fact , I would do everything I could to discourage people from staying there.

“Lovely place to stay. Hosts were very welcoming and nothing was any trouble. The place looks like it has all been decorated within the past year. The room was large and airy with lovely ensuite. When I read the description on the trav.com website I thought it sounded too good to be true, but it exceeded my expectations.

“We must have crossed wires as far as breakfast goes. We had a bus to catch at 9am but no breakfast , not even coffee, was ready by 8:20. We left the keys on the counter and signed the guest book but did not see anyone about signing the registration form. If any other info is needed, just let me know. M. Kaiser
