I first stayed here in Mar 2003 and on a few occasions after that. It's been a few years since I last stayed there so don't know anything about it now. The place was always top class and Spotless. Breakfast was always superb.

I had a single room for about 55 Euro per night. The room was tiny, the toilet was dirty when I arrived, there was no waste bin in the room, coffee for breakfast was awful, and the served breakfast was appropriate for a youth hostel but not for a hotel. I don't think that the required price was equivalent to what I got. Maybe other rooms are nicer, but at least my statement refers to my personal experience

Excellent location - less than 5 mins of the town, Killarney National Park in walking distance as well. Friendly staff, bathroom was clean, bedlinen spotless. In short nothing to complain about. Good value for price.

You pay for exactly what you get; cheap price for central, basic accommodation. We found the staff helpful and friendly - I don't know why others found it to be dirty but our bedlinen and towels were spotless. The first day, we woke up at 9am to a delicious breakfast (corn flakes with toast, rashers and sausages followed by tea) and asked if it was possible to arrange a coach to the Ring of Kerry. We spent a whole day touring there and it only cost the standard price. There was no extra booking fee or anything. The next day we had the same morning ritual and we were able to visit Killarney National Park during the day, it was a stones throw from the B&B. We spent three hours there and then went back to the hotel, where the girl was able to arrange another tour for us. We spent the rest of the day at the Gap of Dunloe. We found an offer on their website that meant we got the third day dirt cheap. It was literally a two minute walk from the town, we bought loads of presents for the lads back in Dublin from the Retail Outlet. Brilliant holiday overall. :D
