Venice Hotel Villa Dori

“The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Although the hotel is located outside the city of Venice, it was easy and inexpensive to get into town, especially with the clear instructions provided by the hotel. I would definitely stay in Hotel Villa Dori again!

“we found the hotel to be very clean & staff very helpfull,excellent value, location to be in a quiet area but with easy access to venice,the only negative would be the menu in tantra cafe' i found it lacking in meat dishes as did other guests i spoke to never the less an enjoyable stay.

“This place is amazing! While it is not on the mainland the hotel offers a shuttle bus to and from Venice in the morning and evening. The bar/ restaurant is very nice.

“Was not aware when booking of the external and internal restoration works, however these did not seriously inconvience us or our holiday. A free Shuttle service into venice would be benefical and more appealing.

“The hotel's decor was of a very high standard. There was still some work in progress, but this did not affect our stay in any way. However, the doors to all the rooms were new, and the locks were extremly stiff. On no less tham three occasions I had to get assistance from a member of staff to open the door to my room. It may have been helpul to ensure the locks, and keys were made easyer to use beforethey were installed.

“Staff never says Hello, hardly even look up from computer when a guest is standing at the reception. Receptionist said they serve continental breakfast every morning, but when asked what's in it, he had no idea and no interest to find out. The cleaning lady was the most helpful. The room was beautiful and extremely clean, the location is great too.

“The location was really far out of town. Had to rely on a shuttle or a bus system to get around......felt like once we were in Venice we were there the whole day until picked up in the evening.

“My stay was excellent and I will not hesitate to recommend to anybodu who wants a good stay in Venice. Front office staff, Andrea ever smiling and helpfull makes our stay even more pleasant. Irina the old lady is ever attentive and helpfull despite even she don't speak English. Finally, the transfer guy, who sent us to the airport early in the morning at a last miniut notice, he really makes our stay a place to go back to. Brovo to Villa Dori.............
