“Not the room on website - but when is it ever? A very tired hotel in need of rejuvenation. Breakfast excellent. Location fabulous. OK for a few nights (only).

“The picture shown on the website is completely misleading.I would strongly recommend not to stay here, breakfast is rotten. Plus to get to our room we had to climb two flights of stairs that would put everest to shame. It is in a nice area but the rooms are musty, crampt and bad lighting. S**thole

“I stayed in a twin room en-suite bedroom at the Bellington for a long weekend and found it to be excellent value. While some of the furniture and fittings aren't to a high standard, the room was clean as were the beds. The location is superb - just a short walk from the Leidesplein and the Museumplein. It's quite ironic that one of the least expensive, excellent value hotels in Amsterdam is located in the middle of the most expensive shopping street in the city. Like most small Amsterdam hotels, there's a lot of steep stairs, so don't book if your knees aren't up to it.

“I probably have never stayed in a room so bad before. Three flights of stairs at a ridiculous angle to stay in what you would describe as an attic with an unlockable roof window. I will never stay there again.
