“Hotel is clean and convenient and the owners are very helpful. Would certainly return. The only criticism - and it's a small one - is that the rooms could use a lick of paint. Still, you don'ty come to Amsterdam to stare at the wallpaper!

“the breakfast was fantastic. Really enjoyed being a bit further out of the city area, yet extremly close to the major sites such as Rjiks and Van Gogh museums.

“We were on a very tight time schedule when we arrived at the hotel. We were checked in quickly and helped with directions. Good value for money. Would definitely use again.

“The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and varied. You must be prepared to negotiate some very steep stairs to get to the bedrooms, difficult if you've had a good night on the town! All in all, very good value.

“The Greek person at the reception desk was excellent, very friendly and helpful. However, the Japanese owner was not polite. He was arrogant and unfriendly. Though English is not his mother tongue he could have done better with his facial expressions.

“There is no lift in this hotel and we had to lug bags 4 floors. This should be mentioned on website. Good location for Musuems but not so good for night life location. People very friendly though and service good and room clean and cozy.
