“We suppose to check in at 10 am, had a confirmation e-mail with all details including about the time of check in, we were sent away to come back after 1pm by receptionist. It was rainy, 9am in the morning, no shops, restaurants open yet... Not happy at all. Receptionist was not helpful. During the night other incoming guests were noisy, knocking on our doors, not funny. Will not recommened to stay there to any of my friends. The only good thing about staying a pub next door - Biddy Mulligan's, warm and friendly staff, good food.

The Grassmarket Hotel occupies a key location in Edinburgh city centre, located in the historic Grassmarket area, only two minutes walk from The Royal Mile. The hotel consists of 45 en-suite bedrooms of a 2 star standard, each offering television, hairdryer, telephone and tea & coffee making facilities.
The hotel operates on a room only basis, however, in the morning a Full Scottish breakfast is available in Biddy Mulligans Pub, which served by our friendly staff, combine to form a great start to any day in Edinburgh.
Biddy Mulligans Pub is the perfect place to enjoy Edinburgh's social scene. With an Irish theme and a lively, fun atmosphere offering a wide range of drinks and an extensive daily food menu. Playing host to a range of live music with local bands and musicians taking centre stage seven nights a week, Biddy Mulligans is also any true sports fans destination to watch their favourite event with live coverage of all major sporting events.
Edinburgh Waverley train station is five minutes walk away from the hotel and Edinburgh airport only 7 miles making transport links very easy and accessible. Due to our central location, parking is not available, however discounted daily and overnight parking rates have been negotiated with NCP Castle Terrace car park, a mere 5 minute walk from the hotel.
