“On the website it refers to "Hotel" Barbera. When you arrive it says Hostel....mmmm. and it is. Awful. Situated in a square, we arrived at 2pm, I.R.O 15 prostitutes hanging around hotel entrance. I was robbed of Gold bangle and money. Pimps lining the alleys by the hotel too. Went to the Police, they were not interested. Never again to Barcelona and definately not to HOSTEL Barbera. This accommodation was £80 gbp, the rooms were bare floors, no windows, just dire. Don't go there.

***During the following dates the minimum stay will be as follows:

- Formula 1: from 06/05/10 to 09/05/10 (both included) – minimum stay 3 nights
- World Mobile Congress: from 14/02/10 to 18/02/10 (both included) - minimum stay 5 nights
- Alimentaria: from 22/03/10 to 26/04/10 (both included) - minimum stay 4 nights

During these dates:
- you have to book for all the days.
- The hotel will charge the 100% of the balance right after the booking is made, non-refundable in any case
- Once a booking is made it can not be canceled or modified (only with losing the amount charged.)

Hotel Barbara is situated near Las Ramblas, Barrio Gotico, the harbour and seaside amd Maremagnum. Its location is very central, situated between the Ramblas and El Raval (Red light district).

All rooms have satellite television, heating and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower.

Barcelona is one of Europe’s most vibrant cities with lots of sightseeing to do, a vibrant nightlife and many restaurants.

Breakfast is not included in the price and it costs €5.
