Good security with keycard. Beds very comfy in the 10 Male dorm. Atmosphere chilled, nothing too crazy. Big TV room in the basement, not too many people talking. I get the train up from Dublin and stay here for weekend pissups instead of staying at friends house in the middle of nowhere. Will def do again!

That said, there is nothing special to this hostel, and it is the type of place that makes you want to spend as minimal hours in there as possible (and find someone, I mean somewhere else to sleep that night). No lockers, pretty dirty.

It\'s an awesome location right on the Liffey River and right across the river from the Temple Bar area. The staff was super helpful and there was maid service daily. Couldn\'t have asked for a better place for the money. I\'m going back to Dublin in a month and I plan on staying there again.

About a 20 minute walk from the Guinness Storehouse, 5 minutes from Tample Bar, just off O'Connell Street, right by the shopping district, everything! Although there is no bar on the property, there is no shortage of pubs in the area. I would definitely go back, the girls working at the counter were cute and very friendly. I checked out Sunday, but they let me leave my bags in the luggage storage until really early Monday when I had to catch a bus to the airport. Cheers!

Abbey Court has no wifi (they don´t claim to have eirher) and to use their computers costs a lot: 1€/15min. In the bathroom a fragrance machine worked making terribly strong fruit smell even in my bed. Breakfast is poor, but nice add ons are there, and you are not warned that you have to pay for them until you take them. This hostel is not bad, but there are many better ones in Dublin.

The 10-person room I stayed in smelled like body odor most of the time I was in there. Air freshener highly recommended. Also would recommend placing sheets in plastic bags and giving them to guests to ensure cleanliness of the sheets.

The Temple Bar area was a 5 minute walk across the river, and the bus to the Dublin airport was around the corner.

However, it is not safe to go out at night. Staff in the reception are helpful but not very friendly. You need to keep asking them for further information or help.

However, overall great value and we all agree we would definately stay in the Abbey Court again and the staff were always friendly.

And it is in the very centre of the town, just in the middle of everything!

It was a little noisy in the morning if you left the windows open. They did not have the room available that we had reserved, as they seem to accomodate people that were already checked in before those that were yet to arrive. It was my first time in a hostel, so I don't know if this was normal, but seemed to make sense. I would stay here again.
