Plenty of people are here, but the hostel is managed professionally, so that\'s no problem. WiFi was available in the hall downstairs, but it was so much overloaded that it was practically unusable. In the evening the hall was so full with people with their laptops that there was no electric power socket any more where I could have plugged in mine.

Besides the staff is friendly and it's a really clean hostel. Something I rate highly. Recommendation and I would go back to this hostel if I came back to Dublin.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating England 16th November 2008 Male 41+ 3/5 Comments: Good location allowed us to explore Dublin easily,very very slow internet..though it was free..room was very small...and when other guests check in at 4 am its a little difficult not to be woken.The staff were young and generally friendly..but would have been nice to have had a few more locals..or at least irish working there so that they could spread their local knowledge.On the whole perfectly adequate for our 1 night stay.

The hostel itself was a fun plce to hang out and had lots of activities and postings about dublin. The rooms were clean.. an overall good experience! No complaints, would def. stay there again!

Everyone is extremely helpful and there are plenty of places and opportunities to meet people here. The kitchen was large, too, so there was never any crowding around the stoves and fridges. I will definitely return to Avalon House.

Internet connection is free, and there are 4 computers for guests to use which doesn't cause too much wait time. I really liked the door key system which I didn't have to return the room key to the reception whenever I go out of the hostel.

(We were amazed to find the 16A bus ran from the airport directly to the hostel!) Our room on the 4th floor was clean and quiet. We'll definitely stay there again!

It was very very clean which made the stay very enjoyable. The location was excellent and very accessible from the airport. The staff were very friendly and willing to help (if a little bit slow).
