| Comments: I don´t like mouses in my room. It doesn´t matter if it is old but I don´t like that nearly everything is broken.I don´t like when I change loccation that I can´t get my first booking fee back. |

| Comments: Conifers guest house was full so we had to stay at the "Cranbrook Hotel" which was very old and dirty (*YUK*). Staff was very harsh but gave us the information we needed.
The Hotel is located in Ilford (also Conifers guest house) which is about 15 mins away from Stratford by train. From Stratford you can take the Central Line to all the famous attrations.
Before you'll book Conifers guest house make sure you won't have to go to the Crankbrook Hotel! |

| Comments: Conifer's Guesthouse (Cranbook Hotel) has a professional and helpful personnel. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped. The housekeeping staff did a great job. I can recommend this accommodation for travellers on a budget. |

| Comments: Overall, i must say ilford is ilford...the stay was nice however if you are planning to be very touristy this place is far from central london, i would say about a 45 minute ride...
although it is far from london i recomend it for a day or two so that you can see the differences from central london and ilford..
people are nice...very good meals... |

| Comments: This hostel is located pretty far from central london. I live in london but had to stay here for two nights. It\'s an easy train ride to central london, and dont bother taking the tube to the hostel, it\'s a much further walk and not through the greatest area of town.
Ok hostel, was relatively clean and the staff wasn\'t awful. the breakfast wasn\'t great, but we have hard eating restrictions, so we rarely have good experiences with free breakfasts. |

| Comments: Actually, this was a budget hotel and not a hostel. My boyfriend and I laughed hysterically upon entering the room: how could you call that closet a bedroom? You could reach every wall of the room from a seated position on the bed. We had to take turns getting dressed in the tiny floor space or just lay down to dress. I only took one shower the whole stay since the water pressure was poor and the water was freezing. If we hadn't paid $80 per night I would gladly reccomend this hotel to other budget travelers. Instead I suggest staying in a hostel in the center, even if you do have to share a room with others. |

| Comments: I didn't mind that it was a bit outside of the main city because the shops and stuff right around there were a lot cheaper than in the heart of the city. And really, it's not bad at all getting into the city center from there. The only bad part about the location was that we had to buy the more expensive travel card just because the guest house was in a farther zone. |

| Comments: Out a ways, nearest station was longer and somewhat confusing to find. Good just for needing a bed not for showering, the water stopped halfway through and took 20minuts to get bck. |

| Comments: Unfortunately, we went to to Conifers Guest House to confirm that some of the comments on this site are really true. The beds are uncomfortable: you can feel every spring in it, and the hairdrier in the room is old and dangerous. The location is not that bad, for the price. It's in ilford, in zone 4. There's a train from Liverpool Street Station to ilford that takes 15 minutes. Then you'll still need to walk 5-10 minutes. The staff is nice. The price included English breakfast, but it's served too early (until 8:30 on weekdays, until 9:00 on weekends). |

| Comments: I suggest never to go there.
It took me 2 hours to reach the hotel and they told me: "no more beds avalaible".
fortunately they gave me an alternative accomodation. (another hostel...) |

| Comments: The beds are very uncomforable. The hairdrier in the room is very old and quiet unsecure. |
