| Comments: The building was hard to find for us, because we drove ourselves, and you cannot drive on the road that the address is on. The building is located amongst other older, beautiful buildings. You walk out the front door, the Rhine river is directly in front of you. You have access to the river cruises, and numerous pubs and shopping areas. You are also within walking distance to the Cologne Cathedral. The staff are excellent. The building is old and has character. |

| Comments: Hayk is a very charming hotel, cosy and comfortable. The location is very good, in front of the River Rhine and a 5-10 minutes walk from the cathedral. Staff is very nice and very safce place. My only complaint is that my room was a little too noisy, but I recommend the hotel anyways1 |

| Comments: My husband and I come to Cologne every six months or so, and we always stay at Hotel Hayk. The staff are wonderful, the place is nicely appointed and clean, not to mention the location can't be beat. We will continue to stay at and recommend this place. |

| Comments: excellent hotel and well situated on the rhine
the room was on the top floor with no obvious information about fire escapes or information in case of an emergency.
it was rather stuffy although there was a fan provided. the window opened directly onto the street 3 floors below. |

| Comments: Room was slightly noisy due to the noise echoing down the small street at the back but the double glazed windows blocked out the noise completely. Very good value for money with lovely new furniture. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the location couldn't be better overlooking the river with lots of restaurants within a minutes walk! The perfect weekend break |

| Comments: Great Hotel!! Would go back in a second! EXTREMELY clean! Very very friendly staff. Quiet hostel, not a party hotel which I loved. No elevators. Booked a double room but it was two twin beds on opposite sides of the room. Our view was gorgeous though, view of the river. Hot showers. Full continental breakfast was great! The best asset is its LOCATION! Superb! Right along the river! Accessible to Main station and Koln Dom (a mere 6 minute walk!). Hohe Street, the main shopping strip a 5 minute walk. There is great shopping here! Gorgeous area at night. Location rich with cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended! Would book this again in a second! |

| Comments: At first I thought I was going to stay in a hotel room but I ended up in an apartment, which has a large bedroom with two beds, a large living room with full kitchen and couple of couches and a private bathroom, right in the middle of everything. Basically I was watching all the action from my window. I have one word for this place and our staff: "Marvelous!!!" |

| Comments: This was our second stay at Hotel Hayk. Our first experience in the summer of 2006 was such a pleasant one, that we decided to go back. Fantastic location, wonderful staff, very clean rooms and oh so cozy beds...we'll be back again! Did I mention the breakfast? Your head will hurt with the choice on offer! Yum!
Please note: This is not a hostel. It is a 3 star hotel. |

| Comments: Recently redecorated, the rooms are simple but nice, spacious and airy with loads of character. The hotel has a great location in the centre of town over looking the Rhine. The only minor disappointment was the quality of the breakfast; stronger coffee, better quality fruit juce and bread would have all been welcome. Overall, however the hotel offers great value for your money and I would go there again. |

| Comments: Cute little hotel in a tourist district along the Rhine. Just a short walk from the Dom, with many restaurants and bars to choose from nearby. |
