Comments: even though there was a bar;there was nowhere to sit except at the dining tables.the staff were sitting in front of the tv.No seperate place for visitors .I was led to believe dinner was cheaper than they charged.Isolated and quiet.Doors locked early.Expensive enough

Comments: This hostel is more like a B & B, the home itself is beautiful and has loads of charm. The rooms are well equipped with all mod cons, as well as giving you a feeling of home. It is in a tranquil setting, very quiet and peaceful perfect country retreat. The hosts are more than willing to help with anything and cook a great traditional breakfast. I would highly reccommend this place to anyone of any age. I would definately choose to stay here again.

Comments: The Pilgrims Rest is situated NEAR Waterford, so you have to take a ride to Cappoquin. It took us a while to find the place, but searching was worth it. Pilgrims Rest is a family business with friendly staff, nice cosy rooms and a quiet atmosphere. We really want to recommend this place. Anyway, if you are party people you should rather go to Dublin or a bigger city.

Comments: Small, family run hotel (very friendly people) is situated in a beautiful countryside (hiking, fishing, riding etc.), peaceful, relaxing atmosphere (fireplace) and delicous homemade meals for a reasonable price. A very good place for singles, couples and families.

Comments: I just wanted to make a little note regarding the staff at Pilgram's Rest Hotel becuse I had one of the best erupean holidays experiences there. My wife and I stayed ther for one night and one day during our travels in Ireland. The staff bent over backward for our comfort. We truy felt like we were taken care of far to good. I would recomend this hotel to anyone. Just a little side note but I am i US soldier stationed in Italy and I had left my dog-tags on the night stand they went out of the way to send me them. There operators and staff really our wonderful people and I can't wait till I can go back and visit again.

Comments: This place is a little out of the way, but definitely worth it! Keep in mind, you need a car to get to it, but it is WONDERFUL!! I'm studying abroad and it was nice to get a resonably priced homecooked meal not to mention resonably priced room! I would DEFINITELY go back!
