It smelled of smoke and was run down. For a single female trying to find the apartment in the dark on a Friday night was a little scary - better lighting and doors that closed automatically could fix that.

It stunk of smoke, and in one corner of the room also had a suspicious urine odour! The apartment needed a thorough spring clean - it had lots of marks all over the walls and the carpets were very dirty. The linen was old, faded and quite tatty. On the upside, it was convenient to be able to pick the keys up from the airport when we arrived, and the apartment location was also OK. I wouldn't recommend staying at Glen House Apartments.

The apartments are in a typical location, clean and with all the kitchen facilities you want. If we'll come back to Edinburgh we will go for glen-house again.

Walking distance from the heart of the city and the kitchen is well equipped. Staff behaved a bit odd though by insisting on charging total amount due on arrival before and without showing the apartment. I said a no show would result in paying just for the first night, but she answered she would charge me anyway for the whole period even if I didn't like it, because I actually had shown up. Fortunately the apartment was OK, but i would have appreciated a warmer welcome after waiting outside in the rain for 15 minutes.

Well equiped kitchen. A bit dark (not much light getting in) and also had to pay extra for power and gas which was a bit strange. Just fine to rest after a hard day festivalling!

Limpios, muy bien decorados y a tan solo 15 min andando del centro de Edimburgo. Muy recomendables!

We stayed in the twin bed "Elliot" apartment, a bit subterranean but fine apart from that. The location is superb, occasional noise from surrounding apartments, all facilities clean and good. Would recommend and would stay again.

A lot better than a hotel. especially for a longer stay. We'd recommend it to everyone. If we ever come back to edinburgh this is where we will stay. Great spot!

It comes with every appliance and cooking utensil you could possibly need. Denise organised a late checkout for us at no extra charge which was very helpful. We would highly recommend this accommodation, especially if you plan to stay in Edinburgh for more than a few days.
