| Comments: As a girl staying on my own i was a bit worried but my room was perfect and the location great. I had a double bed which was soooo comfy i wanted to take it home. I heard no noise as didn't open my window at night as the fan provided did the job. Would recommend. Just be careful of the beggers that sit on the statue outside. |

| Comments: The water had burst so we were moved to a hotel down the street. The staff were helpful and apologetic. The living room serves as an office for the people who organise the stay which is disrupting. The washing machine cant be used and there is no air conditioning. However it was overall a very pleasant stay. |

| Comments: We booked a double/private bathroom, but at the time we did not get the impression that we would be staying in accommodation where you share a communal kitchen/eating area with two other rooms. Even though we had an private bathroom we still thought that the accommodation lacked privacy especially with the thin walls and the communal kitchen which was right at our door. However, excellent location and very informative staff member greeted us upon our arrival. |

| Comments: the people working there were lovely and very helpful. the only obvious downside to the hostel was that at night it was really noisy and the beds were really soft so no hope for a good nights sleep there. |

| Comments: Basic accomodation -- too basic for me. Private bed/bathroom with public kitchen/eating. The single bed was a foam mattress on a metal and wire frame. There was a chest of drawers, but no hanging space. The lighting was minimal. Access to your private bathroom was through the public eating area and with an access card that only worked intermittently. Good location and good price, but.... |

| Comments: I stayed a week and really enjoyed the location. The kitchen and the bathroom was clean and the crew was friednly. The appartments are located right in the center of the city.At night it can be a little bit loud if you have a window to the streets so you maybe have to check for something for your ears. |

| Comments: Felt reassured that we would get a decent nights sleep when we were admomished for making a loud noise at 12.05am (dropped the bed while trying to fix it from bowing in the middle!!), but checked out after being woken by 5 drunken girls shouting ang bawling at 3.15am next door for hours - and Nobody coming up to quieten Them!!) |

| Comments: Really liked that hostel.
Close to everything, Yes you can hear the noise from people on the street - so go to bed late and drink a good spanish wine in one of the bars in the neighborhood ;-)
Next time I will try to go there again. |

| Comments: I am very happy with the services give from the staff. Besides, the location of the hostel is fantastic. You can look all the people walking along Ras Lamblas road just from your window. The hostel is very clean and i am sure you will like it. Try it first and you will know. Believe me. Cheers. |

| Comments: For the price and location, you cannot beat it! You literally walked out onto one of the most busiest streets in Barcelona. Turn left you heading for the Marina, Aquarium, beach and a huge mall(5 minute walk max!). You are also 3 minutes from the Touristic Bus stop (the hop on/off tourist bus). Turn left and you heading into a huge shopping district. There are local and chain restaurants every where you look. The room was okay. I was not facing the street, so I didn't hear the noise that others have complained about. But, the room was small and cold (November). They brought me a heater that I kept running 24/7- which did heat up the room, but the bathroom remained cold. If you are looking for luxurious accomodations, this is not the place. But if you are traveling on a budget, and want to be in the middle of things- this is the place! I would definitely stay here again. |

| Comments: We shared 2 rooms with 3 people in the 4th floor of Las Ramblas 36. It was a nice place in a beautiful building , newly renovated with everything necessary inside. Just some cosiness was missing and it has no heating. The place is very central! So on weekend it was a little loud outside. It was definitly more intimate then an hostel, but not much more expensive, so it was really worth it! |

| Comments: Can't get better location than this and an apartment style provides excellent feel/character (including fully functional kitchen, washer/dryer and free wifi internet). Everything seems fairly new and clean. The only down side were that the reception is not 24 hours and you have to share the main room (dining table no sofas) with them as their reception. Also our beds covers didn't feel fresh and they'd forgotten to provide towels and bedsheet. Otherwise, excellent place to stay. |

| Comments: The room we had was brilliant. Two balconies facing out onto the Ramblas, the buzz, the character, simply couldn't be matched by a hotel. The apartment was large (~14"x11"), clean and oozed sophistication on such an amazing budget!
This place is very, very central! so be aware that the Ramblas is a noisy/lively place at night with all the partying and tourists! We normally were a few sheets to the wind from the lovely bottles of Spainish Rioja to notice much :) (You could buy 3M ear plugs in the farmacia beside if needs be).
Staff were very good: Paul, Wyanetta et all were very helpful and polite. Make sure to call/txt ahead when you arrive though.
If your looking for a private bathroom with your room, there are two available. We shared out bathroom (clean and stocked with shampoo and body lotion) and it didn't present any problems (there are two showers and toilets shared with 3 other rooms). Lift is in operation although only 1 person at a time. My partner had a stressed ankle and this helped a lot, but to be honest if your tired from 3 flights of stairs you have more to worry about.
Safety: outside there is a fountain. At night there are a few unscrupulous types about, but seems safe enough as tourists and cops are everywhere. The apartments themselves are very well secured, two keys, buzzer and essentially card access on rooms.
Any other tips: stay to the main routes, some of the other side streets adjunct to ravel quarter are a bit ghettoish , but where the apartment is just touristy and safe. Fonda round the corner, is a very cheap restaurant serving pseudo Catalan cuisine from mostly Asian staff. Could do better, but good if on tight budget. For more adventurous, there are plenty more authentic options available in town. Do your research on trip advisor/other restaurant guides to get the inside info.
Over all: 8/10 - more suited to single/couples 20/30s looking for good value accommodation very central.
(would stay there again!) |

| Comments: Sensational location and nice inside. Staff very helpful and new rooms. Only downside thin walls. Not that any noise kept us up and we were asleep by 11pm most nights. bonus is fully equipped kitchen you can use. other downside is they are currenly painting the stairwell so a bit frustrating but would definitely go back and ladies to let you know my wife is very fussy |
