| Comments: it was near the train station, wic was very confortable!! The place is nice, its not the best but its oky for the price we payed! The bathroom wasnt very confortable, but it was inside the room, so it was better for us than going to the hall bathroom! i recommend it but not for a very long stay! |

| Comments: This hotel was great because it was a literal 5 minute walk to the train station, 10 to the Duomo, and 5 to McDonalds (a good place to sit, plan your day, and the espresso is actually not half bad.) The staff is kind and will help you book reservations for the Uffizi. The bathroom is shared and definitely insteresting because the whole thing is the shower. |

| Comments: we stayed here for only a night and it was fine, but not excellent. very lackluster, BASIC. if all you need is a bed and are on a VERY TIGHT budget then i would recommend, otherwise keep looking. |

| Comments: This is a great location and the price is great, especially for twin room, shared bathroom. BUT, the toilet in one of only two bathrooms in the hotel would not flush. GROSS. You also shower on the same floor you walk on in the bathroom, which is okay, except it does not fully drain, so you are left with a wet floor. The cleaning staff was good, but the toilet needed to be fixed. Also, they advertise free internet but the computer is garbage and when you write emails, nothing shows up. You cannot access many websites from this computer |

| Comments: Nice people, with a good view of the city. It isn\'t the cutest but it works well when you don\'t want to spend a lot. |

| Comments: Overall, a good place to stay - mostly because it is within easy walking distance of the major sites and has a good strong shower (but in a small room). It can be noisy at night as there is little insulation against the loud banging of doors and noise of TVs. You are a bit at the mercy of you nieghbors in that regard. I would stay there again, a good deal for the cost. |

| Comments: While not terrible, I was a bit dissapointed in the Ester. It was very run-down and shabby. The location is great and staff poilte enough- but not overly friendly. It was fine as a place to sleep and shower(although the all in one shower/washroom made that an interesting experience, when traveling in a group with men and women-think not being able to keep clothes dry in the washroom, so you can change after your shower)Not terrible, but less than I expected. |

| Comments: I enjoyed the Hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice. The price was very good, and the location was awesome. I would say that the only thing bad about the place is that its not exactly new, or at least needs a little makeover--but this was only the case for my room. Everything worked though, and it had a lot of character, so I highly recommend it for someone interested in a central place, with good prices. I had a killer view of the Duomo and the rest of Florence. I'd stay there again, for sure. |

| Comments: Location is excellent within walking distance from pretty much all site seeing and train station.
Staff are friendly and more than willing to help you out.
There is free internet in the hotel which is a bonus.
They have a vending machine with CHEAP water- which is very helpful if you are travelling from a country where your dollar is worse than the EURO.
The room is average- decent for budget travellers. It did smell a bit though....but you don't notice it as much because you are hardly ever in the room. |

| Comments: this was a nice budget hotel...it was cheap and housed three of us. they even let us keep the same room for the next night when we had only two people in the room...and we got the price reduction...so thats cool. this hotel could not be any closer to the trainstation. find mcdonalds and go right past mcdonals and its on your left about 100m.
the hotel is a little 'bates motel'ish (psycho...the movie)...but it turned out to be just what we wanted. a nice fan in the room but no ac. no pool. it was great. |

| Comments: I really appreciate that the staff would introduce sights of the city & how to go once you arrive. Also there's free internet access at the time of my stay. Although the bath is shared, it's really clean. Highly recommend. |

| Comments: Hotel Ester is a nice cheap option and I had a wonderful stay there. I had a single and it was very cozy, quiet, and relaxing. The hotel is located a hop, skip, and a jump from the Santa Maria Novella train station and is very central to all the Florentine sights. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful in all matters. I highly recommend Ester! |
