The hotel is in an old building and the rooms are clean, friendly and safe. It is near to a metro station, so you can reach everything easily. At first sight I was frightened because of the neighbourhood. It is not the best district of Rome, although I had no problem during my holiday.

The air conditioning is on a permanent hiatus, there are no fans, and the windows open to a dark still courtyard through which only the sounds of drunk kids, shrieking babies, and bizarre birds enter. Stayed four nights, got very little sleep. Frustrating.

When we checked in we were informed that the air conditioning we had paid for was under repairs, and they didn't even provide a fan to replace it! We did get a minor reduction in the hotel bill though. The plus point is that the staff of this hotel are generally patient and helpful

Biggest issue was they only accepted cash which was NOT known prior to checkout. Being in a rush to catch a train and learning you now need cash to pay bill is not pleasant.

The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel is very clean! we had our own bathroom! The breakfast wasn't much but they serve it right to your room! I wouldn't walk around the area outside the hotel at night alone...kinda sketchy neighborhood. Otherwise, no complaints! great place for the price!

Very quite area and very secure building. A short walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The room was very nice, more of a hotel than a hostel. Excellent value for Rome that is generally quite expensive. We would stay there again!

Nice, clean, continental breakfast ok, very close to metro and City center, very nice staff,in the neighbourhood a lot of chineesse shops. Small rooms, very nice bathroom with bidet, secure box. I would recomend for all tourist who would like to have nice and calm stay in Rome.

A little mildew in the bathroom but otherwise very clean. A bit inconvenient that main reception was only open for a few hours in the morning (always someone to let you in when you arrive but you could only pay during those certain hours).

A Little India and Chinatown combined in the centre of ancient Rome, it's a classic. Would certainly recommend. Handy for trains etc.
