| Comments: There was intense constuction that NO ONE warned us about. It started at 9 am and continued until5--not exactly holiday timing. We couldnt even speak to each other in the room-- i mean who get up at 9am on holiday in Thailand? |

| Comments: Great place to stay - this was my second time. Right in the thick of Khaosan, but worth the extra dosh for the pool and a clean room and air-con. oh... and the pool after a long day of sightseeing in the heat & humidity of Bangkok is fantastic. |

| Comments: Viengtai Hotel was under some sort of construction; so, they took us to The New Siam Riverside hotel. The above rating is based on New Siam, not Viengtai. |

| Comments: The three of us loved this hotel. The staff was above and beyond friendly, the pool was crystal clear, the room spacious, the breakfast a virtual smorgasbord and its on a quiet sidestreet. Well, except that we arrived during the Songkran festival which was an experience in itself! |

| Comments: Before booking, I visited the hotel to see the rooms and they showed me renewed rooms that are very nice. When we arrived at the hotel, they gived us old rooms with holes in the bed sheets (!!) saying that there were no difference between rooms.
Breakfast buffet ends at 9:30 which is very early for people on holidays! |

| Comments: Was a bit disappointed that after we distinctively asked for a triple room we still just got a twin room with an axtra uncomfortable extra bed put in it. I think that is a bit poor for 1800B per night. 2 hotels down the road there is a fine hotel that asks 800B for a triple room and is just as clean. |
