Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Australia 6th January 2009 Couple 25-30 2/5 Comments: hostel was clean. no communal area except the hallway which was noisy in the room we were in. staff didnt help with much at all, didnt explain anything about rome or hostel. the internet is only supposed to be used between 5pm and 8pm and took 15 minutes to load a page! if youre tired, you will be kicked out of the hostel for lockout. toilet had no toilet paper in it half way through the night-and leaked which we could hear form down the hall.

Wi-fi was broken during our whole stay (10 days) and the internet is limited to 3h per day, with only one computer dedicated to the customers access. There's a lockout policy from 11h30 to 14h30, making the party goers with little time to sleep. Although there is a kitchen, it has very limited space and cooking lunch is a no go cause of the lockout.

However, the hostel itself seemed secure. Sometimes the showers get plugged and overflow (yuck), but we wanted to be near the Vatican for Christmas, and this was the perfect place to stay in order to walk there. They also played movies on a loop, and this was a welcome distraction.

It was great being there and would recommend my friends too. However the location is not so good, needs to walk a long way for the metro, bus station is pretty too close. Polite english speaking staff... what else, a good hostel.

The whole hostel only has access to one lethargic and unreliable computer for the internet from 5-8pm only, while the staff & their close friends walk around with WiFi & won't share the key. Lock out is inconvenient & intrusive. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable,& fun. Would've gotten a higher rating if the description was more accurate. In the end, the hostel offers a fair price & adequate facilities.

I can tell everyone that it's worth staying there when you want to visit Rome, not because of location ( it's not in the center but the undergraund is near to the hostel) but because of atmosphere which you find there. the main person who makes this hostel really friendly is Felix :)

It's a bit out of the way from downtown but nice and close to the Vatican and public trasit. The staff - Carolyn - was an angel and everyone in the place got along great. Stay here!

I have honestly no idea what he's talking about. The hostel is nice, clean, and comfortable, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I've had a really great time staying here...I like it so much I'll probably come back for another week.

The staff are fantastic, very friendly and incredibly helpful, would definately recommend it to all travellers, and at €9 a night, you cant go wrong! will definately be back!

At 9 euros a night it is an absolute steal, so who cares if you have to catch a bus in! Could be better sign posted, but the sheer amount of fun I have had with the staff and other people in this hostel is crazy! 9 euros a night plus a kitchen?!?! Don't worry about asking for directions - anyone in a 1km radius is used to them!

The staff is really nice and helpful, a twin room is safe - you have your own keys, in bigger rooms you have a key for a quite small box, but enough for more expensive things. If you are not very choosy, this hostel is the right choice. :-)
