Comments: Lovely hostel in an excellent location. Breakfast however, is not really worthwhile - stale bread and jam. In addition they could do with investing in another computer as the desk staff tend to monopolise the only one available.

Comments: Some staff were really nice, but one in particular was a complete sucker... Playing music loudly beside the rooms during the morning, dindt even looking to you while talking in a "very enthusiastic" voice, and also finishing the breakfast (that was really poor as well) half an hour before the time...

Comments: The food served by Red Bus is not fresh. The strawberry jam was moldy.

Comments: Brilliant location but very quiet hostel and not much chance to interact with other guests. Bathrooms very nice (except having to press shower on every 10 secs!) When we were there you had to pay for the internet. Budapest is a great city - make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to explore it!!

Comments: Overall, a great hostel! It is very much on the quiet side, since it's in a residential building. If you're looking for someplace to party all night, don't stay here! If you want a hostel that's close to the center of town and the metro, safe, clean, and you know you'll be able to come back to get a good sleep at night, this place is perfect!!!!

Comments: Def not a party hostel but suited us fine after 10 days of camping. Fab location and within 20 - 30 min walk from all the sights. Breakfast was a nice added bonus. Would def return if I ever found myself in Budapest again.

Comments: the hostel was very close to the center. also i like it because it was very quiet after 10pm so you were able to sleep. Breakfast was ok very basic. In general was quiet clean as well.

Comments: The hostel is in a really good location and the free breakfast, whilst not the best, definitely helps if you're on a budget. However, there was only one girls shower on our floor and our room was really tiny - literally the width of 2 single beds pushed together.

Comments: Friendly hostel in a great location. The staff were very helpful. Only real downside was the shower which was too hot (and there was only one shower on our floor). In general a good place to stay, with decent kitchen facilities for cooking your own food.

Comments: This was a great hostel; incredibly relaxed atmosphere where you get to know everyone (hostelmates and staff) really well, even over the course of a short stay. GREAT for folks traveling alone who want to meet other people.

Comments: Unfortunately our twin room was only wide enough for beds to be side by side and could only be accessed by climbing up from the bottom of the bed, also on the hostel literature they said 'free tea and coffee' but that was only with breakfast which I would have expected, also even I don't eat Tescos own brand (blue label)margarine and I'm on a limted budget!!

Comments: Really good hostel if you just want to get a roof over your head. The breakfast is a bit poor and there is no common room, but other than that it is great!

Comments: The hostel is in a good location. My dorm room was very very clean. One of the beds made a sound a bird singing, but this was only when my dorm pal moved. It was not a great problem. Value for money also 99.9 % OK 100% Lonely Planet is right by giving this hostel a good name. CHEERS TONY

Comments: The hostel is clean, spacious, warm, safe and quiet. The toilets are comfortable and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close to all the main touristic attractions, restaurants, shopping areas, banks, and public transport. I'll definitely recomend it and I'd stay there again without doubt. note: the price of the taxi to the airport was 3500 HUF; maybe you could put some mirrors in the rooms as some of us use contact lenses and need to see first thing in the morning!!! Comments: The staff, except for David, sucks. They just want to surf the web and talk on the phone. The hostel isn't very fun. And there aren't enough showers or bathrooms. The location is good though, breakfast isn't bad and it's not too dirty.

Comments: Decent price for a decent hostel. There might be better places to stay, possibly for cheaper, but we were happy with the deal we got here, too. It's also right in the center of town.

Comments: While the hostel in itself was nothing spectacular, I have to give big praise to the staff who went out of their way to help me because my bag went missing from my flight from Barcelona!!! Some staff were more friendly about it than others, but they never hesitated to call the airport sometimes up to five times a day!! So big thumbs up to the staff!!
