When in Galway, you want local hospitality, this was it! The breakfast each morning even consists of a 'daily special' Ours was oak smoked salmon with eggs! Highly recommended

Sometimes looking at pictures online is deceiving...but I was pleasantly surprised & impressed when I arrived. I planned to stay one night, but as soon as I saw my room, I immediately decided to stay two nights. The price is a great deal for what you get!! It's a little bit of a walk from the city center, but I think their 5 minute estimate on the website is accurate. The staff was very helpful giving me advice on things to see in Clifden & how to get to Skye Road (which you must walk along if you go there!!) Also the breakfast was delicious! I had a great traditional Irish breakfast one day & crepes another. You get your own little pot of fresh coffee, toast, jam, etc. My last day I had to leave very early & realized I'd be out before breakfast began serving. I happen to come out of my room & was offered breakfast immediately, a half hour before it's usually served. They were happy to make sure I set off with a good breakfast, whether or not it inconvenienced them. The hostess/owner Katrina (sp?) has done a wonderful job.
