| Comments: Very close to the bus terminals and with 6.5 pesos you can get to the hotel zone in a bus or 20 pesos to the bus terminal in a taxi. |

| Comments: Very, very bad location, did not feel safe, need more water, more english speakers because it is a tourist town, the shuttle needs to be bigger and run more frequently. The driver needs to stop driving way below the speed limit. Clean the pool more often. The pictures are very misleading on the website |

| Comments: Very happy with our stay, fantastic value for money (just 38 USD for great double room). Spotlessly clean, excellent size room and bathroom with soft large towels (2 each) replaced every day, bed very comfy, cable tv with english channels, and above all, superb staff who spoke perfect english and went well out of their way to help us, eg standing outside in the pouring rain to hail us a cab when they couldn't get through to a cab co. on the phone. Four star treatment at 2 star prices - one of the best hotels we've stayed in on our rtw trip! |

| Comments: Whilst this hotel is a bit far out of the way (not in the Hotel zone and 2km from downtown), it was good value for its quality and OK for a short stay (1-night). |

| Comments: Now that I know it was a hostel, my evaluation is different. I read about the Terracaribe on Trip Advisor and I don't think I either read or picked up that it was a hostel. Even when booking I didn't realize this. I've stayed in many hostels and this was better than most. Inside courtyard was very noisy late at night and the lights were on the entire night causing a very bright room. We had an early flight so between the noise and lights I didn't sleep very well. I left the air conditioner on, even when it continually blew on me the entire night, to create white noise to block the noise outside (helped a little) and to keep the room from being stuffy/smelly....it wasn't even that warm outside.
Staff were great and it was nice to have a computer available....even though several people used it for extended periods of time. |

| Comments: The hotel was great with nice clean comfortable rooms and bathrooms. It is on the bus route to the hotel zone (Take the R1 for 6 pesos), so it only takes 10 - 20 minutes to get to the shops and bars. The rooms have very efficient air conditioning, closet space, tv's and safes and the showers were hot. It was a little noisy when I was there as there was a Christmas party going on, and the courtyard layout amplified the noise a bit, but it wasn't really a problem. There were 3 convenience stores within a 5 min walk for snacks. The trav price is cheaper than the price posted in the hotel. The hotel doesn't book tours to local sights so you will need to go to a travel agent in one of the malls. Be aware that you will probably be the last stop for the bus when you return from your trip as most people stay in the hotel zone and the buses go there first. |

| Comments: The hotel is on a loud crossroads, however, distance is walkable into Cancun centre and the rooms are good. The attached restaurant is reasonably priced, food very good. |

| Comments: we actuallly stayed here for our honeymoon - great clean place, friendly people - Carlos in the restaurant is very helpful. Very close to Puerto Juarez and Isla Mujeres. Just know that you aren't in the resort area (its kinda a ghetto area, but the hotel i never felt slightly unsafe), but for saving on budget - its a great place to lay your head and go see cancun for yourself! the rooms are pretty small too - so don't stay there with a TON of people - but I highly recommend this place for anyone trying to keep a tight budget down in Cancun! |

| Comments: This place is an absolute bargain for the price. Easily the nicest place in Mexico I havce stayed in for this money. There is a fantastic buffet breakfast for 60 pesos, the rooms are large and have both fans and aircon, the pool is lovely. Think 3 star hotel at least. The location is not perfect but honestly, it doesn´t matter if you are just using Cancun for a night or two between other places. Two words, stay here! Murray and Monika, NZ and Slovakia. |

| Comments: We had wonderful stay! The staff was wonderful, and the rooms were great. The only downside was it's location quite far from the beaches, but if you don't mind public transportation it's not so bad. We highly reccomend Terracaribe! |

| Comments: I really enjoyed my stay! My friend who stayed in the hotel zone of Cancun was very impressed and sad that he made the mistake in paying for a room who was never in versus having to compromise on the dinner budget.
Great place, great staff, great accomodations. |
