On a plus, the free internet was awesome and the train station is a really short walk and only 30 mins or so to paris. the staff were really nice and helpful.

I didnt really need anything from the hotel, so it was fine overall. The first rer back into the city is at 5:18 am if you were wondering (even on sundays)

The stuff was very courteous. The cost performance ratio becomes better if you come with for people. Book over trav.com. Only there are four-bed-rooms available. :-)

We just had two problems: the receptionist discounted all the value in a credit card when said that will discount just one parcel. The last night a group de young guys came to the hostel and did so much noisy all night long, but no one satff or security said them to saty quiet!!

Don't make that mistake - it took forever (~35mins) to walk there. It\'s only ~5 mins from the other stop.

Not much of a backpacker scene as it is too far out of town. Arrive before dark if possible as the underground and the walk to the hotel could be pretty intimidating; a few drunks, homeless, and gangs, mostly immigrants, seem to hang around. One or two night stopover is sound but don´t expect to be shooting into town on the beer.

Also: there are streets named after Jean Jaures and Stalingrad close by one another in Noisy-le-Sec. The Paris city metro stations Jaures and Stalingrad, also close by one another, ARE NOT in Noisy-le-Sec, but in the city of Paris itself.
