Comments: Little details can make or -in this case - break a place. The bed was lumpy, the chair in my room fell apart, the door key was attached to a ridiculously heavy brass knob that was a pain in the a** to carry around. There are plenty of better places in the same area for cheaper.

Comments: The hotel is not all that great. We were expecting a nicer and more decent hotel and when we arrived and saw our rooms we were very surprised. The beds were uncomfortable and in terms of security, I feared for my personal belongings because the windows and the doors are not in very good shape.

Comments: Great hotel, great staff in a very good area, very close to the colosseum. The only problem is the lack of lift.... The rest is really good including the breakfast!

Comments: Fantastic breakfast. Staff were very helpful. Complimentary upgrade for myself and my pregnant wife. Was not expecting half as much as what we got after what we heard about customer service in Rome.

Comments: The hotel is ok, when we arrived there was no hot water but it was fixed next day. Our room faced Via Cavour, so it was very laud night and day, so we had to sleep with earplugs. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is definitely worth the money!

Comments: Very clean, great breakfast (though only until 9). The AC dripped, but we were very grateful to have it in the heat. The location is better than most Termini hotels if you're interested in walking to the historical center rather than taking the metro or bus (about 20 minute walk). They experienced some electrical difficulties (power outages) but were quick to fix it, too much AC for the system I guess. Overall, a decent place to stay if you're travelling accompanied.

Comments: The hotel was really cute and in a good location. The staff was really nice. I booked a private room with a private bathroom but they gave me a private room with a shared bathroom when I arrived. I was refunded right away.

Comments: The hotel is clean and centrally located since it is about 10 minute walk from the Colosseum and the Train station. It is located in an alley but it's right at the top of the alley way so you dont really feel unsafe. The price is a bit steep for what you are getting- a room and a decent breakfast. The room and bathrooms are clean and it was overall a good stay. You may want to try to look for a better deal in terms of price first.

Comments: good location, very good full breakfast, pleasant staff, helpful, spoke English. Room was small, we had a triple. Could have used a chair and more than one bedside reading lamp. Cleanliness good. Room had all the basics, on the spare side. We suspect future remodeling as the 2 rooms next to us were being worked on. Quiet street, little street noise. Would stay here again.

Comments: Ensuite is not really an ensuite. more like a shower in the corner of the room. Made us stay a night in another hotel

Comments: The hotel has two properties and the one more centrally located is a better place to stay with newer rooms and almost everything within walking distance.

Comments: This hostel wqs in a great location. It is on a small street in between the colosseum and the main train station (termini). The hostel gave a decent breakast, no curfew, new towels everyday, and definetly the BEST advice about to get around at night. This hostel by far exceeded my expectations for a very decent hostel. Those who stay at it zill be very delightfully surprised at how helpful the staff is how great the location is :).

Comments: We just got back from our vacation including a 4 night stay at Hotel Saturnia. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, including some great tips about navigating Rome, spots to eat, etc. The only issue whatsover is that the breakfast room can be a little cramped, but overall we had a great experience. The rooms are clean and mostly newly renovated and it's in a great location that's quite walkable to many sights, as well as the subway. I would definitely stay here again.

Comments: The staff at the Saturnia hotel were wonderful, friendly and efficient. They smiled sweetly as we faltered in Italian and spoke English when our command of the language failed. The rooms we stayed in on both occasions were small but very clean. Good location, walkable to pretty much all the tourist desinations (Vatican is a bit more of a short hike) but close to the Termini train station and underground should you choose. Lovely little resturants nearby.

Comments: The Hostel is off a main street close to the terminal station, but the walk is not very easy on wheeled luggage. Pack a carry on you can carry! The hostel was overall nice and I would stay there again.

Comments: When we arrived at the Hotel Saturnia we were told that our room wasn't quite ready but we were free to leave our bags, so we were soon out exploring the nearby sights. It's located very centrally with easy access to the Termini station too. On returning we were asked whether we would like to stay at an annexe hotel about 10 minutes away. We were a bit dubious but at no extra cost & a free en suite bathroom we decided to give it a go. It was located close to the Spanish Steps (so still very central). We were pleasantly suprised with what we found. A central reception / dining room surrounded by the rooms. Ours was on the small side but fine for us, clean, secure & well equipped (Sat TV, mini bar, air con). The staff were very helpful pointing out where to go in the city, where to avoid / be careful etc. Also there was no problem leaving our cases to collect on the last evening for our return flight. We would recommend these hotels to anyone.

Comments: We really enjoyed our stay here. The employees were incredibly nice even with the ever so slight communication difficulties. It isn't the Hilton, but it was great for us. The Colosseum and the Forum aren't too far, and it is about a 10 minute walk to the train/metro station. I would recommend staying here to any backpackers on a budget.

Comments: Great location. Slightly grubby. Imagine on-suite rooms were better kept, but shared bathroom was rusty and horrible. Door lock was broken. Did not spoil our stay though as Rome is wonderful.
