But open concept was super cool, washroom facilities were great.

I stayed here last October and have some great memories. If u are a fairly social person this hostel is perfect. It is not a very large place so everyone staying there is really welcoming and gets along really well. The manager Ivan is great guy and will do his best to help you out. If you're planning to go to Crete, there'd be no better place to stay (especially because its so cheap!)

Ivan the manager was friendly and tried to take care of all our needs. The toilets are in a seperate block away from the hostel and there was limited hot water. However, for the price of 9 euros a night, for the typical backpacker, you can't really complain. Good times.

Our ferry was delayed so we missed the last bus to Rethymno and the only way to get there from Iraklio was an 80 euro cab ride...
