Only thing I didn't appreciate was booking for a female dorm and having a man walk into the dorm to spend the night...Not what I had asked for. Other than that, I highly recommend!

It was disgusting, The bathrooms were smelly and dirty. The staff weren't interessted in the problems with the toiletts. This was a horrable stay in a hostel.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Germany 12th November 2008 Female 18-24 3/5 Comments: it's the second time i stayed in the jacobs inn.unfortunately this time i had a room close to the elevator making an annoying noise.also the hostel is next to the railway running all day and night and it was very noisy on the floor. housekeeping changes pillowcases and sheets but leaves the blankets. bathroom was full of mildew  the daystaff was very friendly and helpfull, the nightstuff was rude. free wireless is great,breakfast ok.

However the staff were less than helpful with our large group of 10 and we didn't get our key deposits back. The rooms are really nice with ensuite bathrooms and if you like toast (just toast) the breakfast is good.

The room and bathroom weren't very clean but we were in a 12 bed dorm. The staff that we had weren't very helpful. The kitchen was quite dirty as well but the free breakfast was great and the price to stay wasn't bad.

Staff were helpful and a good large kitchen but with almost no utensils. Breakfast had warm porridge which was good and almost outweighed the diturbing excuse for orange juice.
