Uses different exchange rate for checking in than exchanging money so had to pay more in pesos than expected. Also, forgot to bring up one of the bags so had to come down and take it up ourselves. Very bad customer service, never had one apology.

Great location to explore downtown cancun and to get a feel of mexico. Hotel staff, particularly attitude of manager not great. Walk in rate for hotel was $160 US trav rate was $60 US so great deal....but staff obviously didnt want you there unless prepared to spend big money! So why offer rooms at this rate if you dont want travellers!!!

The airconditioning unit was very noisey and hardly cooled the room. We were on the first floor and our window overlooked,directly, the pile of damaged stuff, mattresses, play equipment, furniture, sheetrock and building materials. The hallway in front of our door was full of stacks of mattresses. which were moved, with lots of noise during the night. We were there only one night and were late getting to the room so we did not change rooms, but the experience was disappointing.
