It is literally directly across from the Train Station on the Grand Canal if you are staying in one of the mixed dorms. Free lockers in the room was a plus and free linens and towels. I would reccommend this hostel to anyone staying in Venice. I would definitely stay there again.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Australia 3rd November 2008 - - 3/5 Comments: if your looking of a nice, comfortable, clean place to stay in Venice, this would be it. the room was spacious, beds were nice and the bathroom was really good. if your after the hosteling scene where you meet a bunch of travelers, exchange crazy stories, end up going out drinking every night, you should find somewhere else. but maybe it was just quite for the couple of nights i was there, i don't know.

The door of the sink was broken and it was not as clean as it could be. Venice is such a perfect place, but this place is not so romantic as the city. We understand the city is too small for so many turists. But the apartment could have been divided better. The room had a gap on the floor. Strange. The location is fantastic.

One of my roommates had a minor disagreement with the staff, who probably over-reacted, but overall they were friendly and helpful.

Room had a fridge and basic breakfast, but supermarket nearby. Warning! Everyone knows its expensive to eat out on St Marks Square, but we got stung for an extra 5 euros each just because the restaurant had music while we ate! Gorgeous city though!

IMPORTANT TO EVERYBODY KNOWS BEFORE CHOOSING THIS HOSTEL: Hostel was in a different location from check-in (20 min walk, with too many bridges), but the room location was more central. There is a problem when you are with many bags, so you have to leave them at the reception.

The room is huge,clean nice beds. You get your freedom because you get your own key to basically an apartment. I would stay here again.

We never got to see other people, no common room, but that was ok for us. We also got a fridge and a little breakfast within the room, including tea & coffee, which is mostly appreciated in the mornings! Also great location.

Also, there is no one at the hostel itself so if you need any information, you will have to walk 20min back to the check-in office to do so. Other than that, it's a pretty nice place.

Very nice staff with lots of hints and suggestions. The breakfast was not that good and I even had to boil my water for coffee or tea, because it is in the room.
