| Comments: excellent hostel! private rooms are awesome ( a little on a small side, but for this cheap), staff is SUPER friendly, they held my bags for 2 days while I was on a side trip. Rooms are clean, air conditioners, heater. Good location. And for what it costs .......wow... I think it is the most affordable room with bath in all Tokyo. |

| Comments: gresat location , if your are staying in the single room great , otherwise domitaries in the Ryokan would do better to allow for light to switched on in the luggage space area for removal of stuff from the suitacse , lights are ussually off by 10.00 PM problem for latecomers .
Over great place fun to stay and relax in toyko, staff very nice and helpful would return if i go to tokyo. |

| Comments: Generally, a middle quality hostel. The room is small, ok, but there is a strange smell inside. Location is not the best, but good, Asakusa is an important spot in Tokyo. A good supermarket very close opened 24/24 at competitive prices. Staff helpful and friendly. |

| Comments: Staff was wonderful as was the location. Just a block or so off a main street and only about 5-10 min walk from a metro station. Tons of cheap, tasty food nearby as well. Will stay again when I next visit Tokyo. |

| Comments: It\'s my first choice everytime i\'ve been to Tokyo. Already feels familiar and this first stay was just passing through but they held on to our luggage until we got back from our trip to the West part of the country. |

| Comments: The location is very good as it is very near to senso-ji temple where there are a lot of restaurants and many shops.
The hostel staff give you some information about Tokyo (how to move, what to visit)but the rooms are wet and they don't clean it during your stay. |

| Comments: The hostel looks a bit gloomy, but I guess it's what Tokyo is like. The facilities are a bit old but they are functional.
The biggest drawback is that the room feels like an isolated cubicle without a proper window. One does fear that if anything happens, e.g. fire or earthquake, there's no way out (I do know the route of fire exit, but, you know, it's the feeling of being insecure and I was unnecessarily alert to any noises at night) |

staff went above and beyond

| Comments: This family-run ryokan is nice and easy to find. It's really worth the money.
The room is clean, the bathroom and toilet are separated but there should have at least a cloth hook in the bathroom as no place to hang your towel. Its matress is so good as I really sleep well every night. No life, so better not to bring too heavy stuff. No curfew so you can leave whenever you want by just leaving the key at the desk. Definitely, will come back again if I have a chance to visit Tokyo. |

| Comments: I stayed at two hostels while I was in Japan and I absolutely loved the fact that it was a private room with our own bathroom at this one!
The staff was very friendly and I was impressed by how they gave you a lot of information at Check-In. They walked us to our room and they were very hospitable.
The place was easy to find and not far at all from the train stations. I definitely recommend this place. |

| Comments: I had a single japanese style room. It was basically a mattress on the floor where you can sleep on. The price is great and the english-spoken staffs are very friendly and helpful. The bath room is too small. I am 5'8" and my legs are jam against the walls when I use it. If you are any taller or have long legs, you basically need to use the bathroom with the door open. It can be a bit noisy as walls are thin, so bring ear plugs. |
