Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating New Zealand 1st November 2008 Female 25-30 3/5 Comments: this was a great place to stay. it was really close to the central train station, and about a 40min walk into the duomo, although it was not that well sign posted. we were delayed a long time on our train, but this was not a problem as they let us check in quite late at night. the small issue we had was that the night porter didn.t speak english and we didn.t speak italian - however the day staff spoke excellent english. i would stay there again.

Directions were not clear and we did lose our way to the hotel, but it wasn\'t a big deal. The free internet was really slow and you have to stand at the terminal.

Opposite Milan train station (convenient if you arrive in Milan by train- especially at night) Could have been cheaper for what it is I think. Reminder: If you are searching for this hotel at the piazza in front of the station. Don\'t ask the policemen there since they don\'t know the direction. Find it on yourself or ask the locals.

Milan was HOT and the air-conditioner was very much welcomed. The shower was heaven after walking around town the whole day.

Our room had a balcony, which was connected to a roof, that is connected to a parking lot. The design of our window made it possible to unlock the window with a screwdriver. The balcony is also accessible via the reception area. Security lacked in our room. Location was alright. Metro is a 5 minute walk and there where cheap bakeries and pizzarias availlable. With the metro it is aprox. 7 minutes from the centre.

My friend and I were having breakfast, and the staff asumed that we could not understand italian so they were talking about us right in front of our faces, they were shocked when i asked for some more milk in Italian. I\'m not sure what age group will see this site, so I will not include what they actually said, but it was not pleasant.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Australia 4th July 2008 Female 18-24 3/5 Comments: extreemly close to the main station which is good if you are arriving late from another city. it is only a short trip into the main square to see il Duomo and to go shopping. the rooms were very clean and spacious i would recommend this hotel if you need to catch early or late trains because it is accross the road from the station, but if you are staying in milan for a while i would recommend staying closer to the main square purely for convenience.

Security would be a higher rating, as always someone at the front desk, but room is a deadbolt lock from both sides & only one key. If traveling w/ friends & 1 stays in, no way to lock the door from the inside. The door is open for anyone to walk in or friends lock you in & no escape in a fire. Very Strange. Great value for location/amenities. Friendly staff.

Unfortunately you can hear noises from the metro line and walls are paper thin. The room was Very nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast. Staff (English speaking) was polite but not very enthusiastic and they didn't give any information until asked for. The overall impression is positive and we would recommend it.
