If you're looking for a hostel environmemnt too meet people then probably not the place for you but really nice little guesthouse to come back to at the end of the day - clean and comfortable and an incredable location. Only thinhg that would improve it would to have some kind of safety deposit boxes or lockers to leave passports in.

Fresh towels & bed made every day. V funky deco. Just watch out for the four fairly steep flights of stairs you have to negotiate. And you have to pay in cash - they don't take credit cards, although they were happy to accept payment in 2 instalments.

Nicely decorated rooms, art on the walls, breakfast included + tapas for free on weekends. Helpful staff, English well spoken. Not recommended for "party tourists" however. We really felt at home in the time we were there and highly recommend a stay there!

It was very clean, the location is perfect, you can not get a better location. The only thing I would say is that the 4/5 flights of stairs is tiring after a day out exploring and the noise from the street is a bit loud sometimes....but apart from that the hotel was sport on and I would definitely stay here again!!

Quite cheap (considering its location in the centre of the town), clean, beautyful, perfect friendly stuff. The only thing not-so-good was noise comming from very bussy Portaferrisa street in the night. If you book a room ask where its windows are situated :o)

The place has alot of character and is very charming, highly recommended for a nice and relaxing place to stay in a prime location in Barcelona.

Breakfast in the morning was nice and it was fun to visit with other guests in the dining area. Staff was very helpful. Location is absolutely perfect near many fun stores and so close to the metro. A few mins walk to Metro. Friendly and helpful staff. The only bad thing is there is no lift so you have to carry your luggague to the forth floor where the hostal located. Anyway, I really enjoy my stay in Barcelona and would love to recooomend this hostal to you guys.
