It was just a basic room but it was clean and comfortable. The apartments were conveniently located with trains, shops and cafes near by. It was only a few train stops to the main attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is not near the tourist areas, which can be a good or bad thing. Hahaha. But, the Berlin Metro can take you to those areas in no time. Berliners are quiet, but nice people to get to know. I like Berlin even with the graffiti that is mostly on the East side of Berlin, where this Hotel is located at. Miss you Berlin!

Really helpful staff, and the romms were absolutely spotless. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in.

Only minus for the terrible german pillows (they are everywhere, not the hotel's fault) and the shower. It was very clean and pretty, but the water pressure was so low you couln't wash properly.

Easy walking distance to the centre too and to the Ubahn. Would recommend it for groups who want somewhere independent to stay but not the hustle and bustle of a hostel.

It's in a good location in Prenzlauer Berg which has many bars/restaurants, and also there is a 24hr supermarket literally 2 minutes down the road. Which was handy! Its about a five-ten minute walk to the nearest u-bahn. There is no reception, but you can contact the owner if needs be, and he proved to be really nice and helpful. There is a coffee/tea vending machine in the entrance area and free internet, which was always available when I wanted to use the PC. The room was large, spacious and clean. There were towels, and a hand hairdryer. Make sure you pack your own soap though. I enjoyed my stay at Apartment 1A, I had a peaceful night's sleep and I liked the location.
