Convenience stores, restaurants and bars nearby, close to the station and not too far from the centre of Tokyo. It's a bit lacking in character but, well, it's not a hostel, it's a hotel and, for the price i paid, a much better hotel than i'd expected. I'd be happy to stay there again.

Note that this is a "love" district, but we found it just added to the charm and felt 100% safe. Food galore and great people. Give it a go, you'll love it! :O)

Near to JR station Kamata, just 20 minutes by train to Shinjuku, Tokyo or Yokohama stations. Room size fine, silence, quiet AC. A have to recomend this hotel!

(Note this is also because there is no more open rooms single, doubles, or triple.)

The only drawback was the location was a local stop on one line so you have to be a bit careful. Otherwise affordable location to Yokohama and not too far from tokyo/ueno/akihabara stops

Staff are super friendly, even they don't speak English very well, they try to help a lot. It's a nice option if you have lower budget for your staying in Tokyo metro area.

The place was a bit hard to find tho but it was close to the JP Railway. I highly recommend this if you seek a clean room in a nice end of Tokyo. I didnt run into any foreigners here nor did I see many in the alleys and shops around.

Hotel is close to a JR line that will require a transfer anywhere else you want to go. A/C couldn't keep up well (in either of our two rooms). It was a pleasant experience and worth the money.

They allowed us to check in early and provided clean towels and fresh toiletries each day. The room was spacious and is in an ideal location.
