On arrival i was actually allocated a single room with single bed so did not actually get what you Trav.com charged me for.But The Courtyard B&B and its owners could not be faulted in terms of quality & Service Exceelent all round.

Finally I stumbled across The Courtyard. What a find. A beautifully presented clean spacious room, with helpful staff. Did not get to sample breakfast unfortunately as we had an early flight - it was offered though which is almost unheard of in most hotels even It was also nice and close to the airport. If I ever go back to Shannon this is where I will be staying.

The staff was very helpful when we need directions, and the hot breakfast we woke up to was fantastic. The little village, which is within walking distance, provided ample drinking opportunities and wonderful entertainment with some locals. The best part of our trip for sure, and we were all under 25!! We all would fer sure stay here again!!

When I woke up they had a great breakfast waiting for me on fine china. A wonderful overall experience and highly recommend it to everyone. Not much to do around the guesthouse though, but close to the airport to catch a bus to have fun.

The city bus stop is across the street and cost 2.70 Euros for the airport from there. The owners are helpful and friendly. He cooked a fresh breakfast. It's also a very cute homey atmosphere. I recommend going to the Creamery Pub for dinner and a Guiness. They had traditional Irish music live when we were there.

We had planned to stay one evening but liked it so much we called in on the way home and stayed another night. He also very kindly arranged a dinner reservation for us when we had difficulty findng a restaurant. Will definitely make a return visit. Our only complaint if we had to make one would be that it would have been nice to have had tea/coffee making facilties in the rooms.

There's not much in the area but it's right near a bus stop that'll take you anywhere you need to go. Walking distance from Bunratty Castle, only about five minutes. Rooms are nice and clean.

However at the courtyard the atmosphere was more business like than friendly. We can get this back in England! The building & decor itself was very impressive I think tea & coffee kits in the room would have been nice too.
