Comments: Overall good stay at budget prices. Boat ride each time to main attraction adds to the fun. However room was not cleaned after first day.

Comments: After staying in traditional hostels every night, this place was a palace! There's no explanation for the great price except that maybe we came during off season and it is an island hotel. Staff are super relaxed but responsible and welcoming, ok english (some hand motions needed!) and overall an extremely enjoyable stay. Breakfast not included but there is a delicious fresh fruit stand down the road as well as a cafe with expresso for only 1euro. Two classy thumbs up for this place.

Comments: A hotel, not a hostel. The boat ride to the actual city of Venice can be long, and the ride to/from the train station to Lido for the hotel is almost an hour.

Comments: You can not flaw this hostel. Its not even a hostel. Self contained, modern apartments, immaculate with a fanstastic, knowledgable and friendly reception. Will refer to anybody who travels to Salzburg.

Comments: Worst room or our trip. in a loft, so small that there was only a small area of the room that I could stand up in. ceiling sloped so much that if you sat up in bed, you hit your head on a beam. no hot water our entire stay.our room had a broken skylight that wouldnt close.Woke up soaked from rain. girlfriend woke up with bites all over her. I passed all this on to the owner while checking out. he didnt care, just told me to pay for breakfast.

Comments: This is not a hostel, is 3-star hotel! Very reasonable rate in Venice. They give us a big room and is very clean. Located in a lively and relaxing island, Lido.

Comments: If you are looking for cheap, and quiet this is for you. The staff definitely do not go oput of their way to make you feel welcome in a new country. But then don't expect a lot of help from anyone even outside the hostel. I ended up leaving early because of feeling so unwelcome a s a tourist in the area. BUT this IS a great location for relaxing and keeping to yourself!! Only a 15 walk to the vaporetti and the shops in town!!

Comments: A very nice place to stay and would definately return as it was great value for money. Being situated in Lido was good as we were very close to a ferry (2 min bus ride that comes every 10 mins) that takes you directly to anywhere you want to go in venice. All round good!

Comments: This place was a hotel when we were expecting a hostel. It was really nice and cute and the air conditioning was amazing in the summer. The only problem with this place is that they list it as being on Venice, when actuality it is on a different island called Lido. Lido ending up being cool, but it was hard to find the place and the directions were very unclear.

Comments: Great hotel, gorgeous garden. It's on the island of Lido, 10 mins boat ride from San Marco in Venice. The boats go every 10 mins & are a great way to travel. As it's not on Venice it's cheaper and you get more for your money. Buy a 24, 48 or 72 hour boat pass, its so much cheaper!! Can also use this for bus to airport & all other buses

Comments: This budget hotel was rather poorly run. Staff didn't know anything and had us wait over half an hour for the manager to check us in. The bathroom was the only good thing, seemed newly remodeled. Location was okay as you could take a bus there, but it was a hassle. The neighborhood was nice, different from the mainland, but everything closed early. If possible, try a hostel first.

Comments: the only problem was that it was so far out of the way. If you want to go to Lido its good, but if not it will be a 40 minute waterbus to Lido then a bus ride to the place

Comments: Located on Lido, which is a ferry ride to Saint Marks square. If you are looking for a quiet stay then this is for you. Staff does not speak much English but you can get by, and the hostal didn“t provide a lot of information about the city. About a 20 minute walk from the ferryboat pick up. Really safe neighborhood.

Comments: This hotel was located on the island of Lido, which is much more quiet than mainland Venice. The hotel was clean with high ceilings and very tidy. The island of Lido has a great beach (less than 10 mins from hotel). A bit of a hike to the boat dock that goes to mainland Venice, I'd recommend taking a bus to get you there faster.
