| Comments: Double bed with shared bathroom. Room was tiny and dirty. Bathroom was also very small and was almost always occupied. The room had a unique smell. However it was air conditioned and the hotel lobby was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location great! |

| Comments: The only good thing about this hotel was the location right on the river. Nevertheless, this didnt make up for the tiny box room, which wasn't particularly clean, small shared bathroom and breakfast not included. Couldn't wait to leave. |

| Comments: My son and I came for the history not for the fun. Everything was very good. Thank-you for a lovely B&B. Age groups don't apply for us. I am 59 and my son 22 and we came to spend time together during his college break in a country he has always wanted to see ( I have been before0 |

| Comments: Excellent place. We loved it here. Our first night we were placed in room 25, which we found out the next morning was next door to their construction site for the new renovations. They offered to move us to a quiet area of the hotel, no problem. The rooms in the 30s are much nicer, newly renovated, and best of all quiet. Our room in the 20s was fantastic and huge, only problem was the construction, so watch out. Reception was fantastic, recommended great restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return. |

| Comments: The hotel itself it is in a great location, right on the river and 10 minutes to all attractions. My only complaint was that there was construction going on right outside our window and they were renovation the hotel (I think that is why it was so cheap). The staff is very helpful and the walk from the train station was only 10-15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel. |

| Comments: I especially loved the large room. The 19th century locks are charming however when you lock the door no one can leave. I locked my friend in without knowing and she had to wait for me to come back to get out...
Most annoyingly there was construction which started at 9am. For someone who likes sleeping in I wouldn't suggest it. Besides that the location was great... staff accommodating... and it holds a quirky character. |

| Comments: Very charming! A great price for a really decent hotel with extremely helpful staff, a great location, and good breakfast (although its not included). We ended up staying in Florence an extra night and got a deal on an upgrade. The showers were awesome. Would definitely stay there again. |

| Comments: A cosy budget hotel and is cheap for its standard. Stayed here for an extra night because arrived in Florence earlier than expected. Offered a suite for the same price of a standard room is great!!Enjoyed the jacuzzi and beautiful view of the riverside in the morning. Overall, a great budget hotel! |

| Comments: The staff were really good at pointing us in the right direction, they showed us where supermarkets were and helped with tours and trains ect,
Location right in the heart of Florence beside the river, (beware of the biting mosquitoes at night, donâ€t sleep with the window open) loved it, it was the highlight of the trip, shared bathroom was not a problem. |

| Comments: Upgraded into their newly renovated rooms for only 95 euros a night. It was nice to live in style but the air conditioner leaked all over the floor and the "included breakfast" that the front desk woman hyped up is nothing more than bread and coffee or tea. Great location and nice people but probably wouldn't have upgraded if I went back. Just stay in the regular room, florence is beautiful and you'll be out all day and night. |

| Comments: The staff at Hotel Bretagna was very friendly, however, a day before our arrival we called to cancel our first night. The woman on the phone said 'No Problem.' When we arrived it was a different story, we were told (and scolded) we didn't give them adequate notice and we had to pay for the night we cancelled. As a peace offering they gave us breakfast during our stay (a 5 euro per person value which isn't included when you reserve through Trav.com). We had a room with a shared bathroom. The shared bathroom was terrible, if you decide to stay here we suggest getting your own bathroom. We enjoyed our stay because it was Florence, we wouldn't stay here again. |

| Comments: Great place to stay if you don't mind the shared bathroom. Fantastic location with a lot of charm. The bed was a bit smaller than a standard double, which made if very cosy. Breakfast was OK, but wouldn't pay the extra for it again. |

| Comments: Some of the hotel staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the rooms are spacious and lovely. Good layout, ornaments and decorations around that give a good homely feel. One minor complaint is that the location of this hotel was stated as next to the Ponte Vecchio (Old Bridge), which is misleading, when the nearest bridge is actually the Ponte Santa Trinita. Overall, recommended. |

| Comments: This hotel was exactly what I had expected. The staff was average to friendly. The room was cozy and suited our needs, and everything seemed clean. The place was peaceful. We shared a bathroom with the hall, and this was no problem, although the plumbing in the bathroom was a little funky sometimes. I would definitely recommend this place for folks looking for a quiet, cheap hotel with a great location in Florence. |

| Comments: Very good location and some friendly staff. There is only one room with a view on the Arno, but, the living room is big and offers a nice view.
The only downside is the unclean blanket and covers, although the sheets were very clean and we were happy to get new towels everyday. |
