Comments: I went with some friends and we didn't like it as a group. Some of the staff was not friendly and there was an odd and somewhat creepy feel to the place. I would recommend renting a whole room, ie. if you are six people, buy the two extra bed just so you can put your stuff on them. If you do that, it might not be so bad. Great prices. Rent a bike and it won't feel so far from everything else.

Comments: Nice, clean, an opportunity to meet lots of other travelers and a pretty good (included) breakfast. Excellent with an elevator as well. But some of the staff members were a bit rude, and our room (double room with bathroom) was TINY - there was no place to put the luggage even for ONE person.

Comments: The hostel is a bit far away from the action, and the rooms are a bit crowded but it offers excellent value for money.

Comments: This place is good, I think it is an old hotel? All rooms have a bathroom and there is a lift so you don't need to take the stairs always. There is a bar there but never seemed to be open. Good location once you work out the directions, only problem was there was a desk in the middle of the room and we couldn't seem to work out why, it just got in the way!

Comments: There were mice in our room that left holes in our bread, also we got bed bugs. However the staff was at least semi-helpful. Location is average, if you can find somewhere else, stay there.

Comments: We stayed 4 nights in this hotel, in a dorm (for 6 persons, with an individual bathroom). Very good price for the quality: very good breakfast, clean room, towels changed nearly everyday, quiet, well situated thanks to the different trams. So we were happy and we would advise this hostel.

| Comments: our room was quiet dirty!
we waited until 2 hours to get in our room because the staff had to clean it up.
My bed was full of blurry and hairs of someone else! and we couldn't open our window!
Furthermore there was a offensive smell in our corridor!
I'm glad that I didn't spend more than one night there. |

Comments: This is a very comfortable place and the included breakfast is quite good. Be sure to bring luggage locks as there is nowhere to lock up your luggage. The beds are comfy and the rooms are very clean; bathrooms too! The location is fine- you have to take the tram into city center or walk about 40 minutes, but there's plenty to eat around the hostel. I would definitely stay here again.

Comments: Booked a room at Inner Amsterdam and they sent us around the other corner to a different hostel...trinan (sp?). That was fine but the man at trinan was very rude and the rooms have barely any space to walk. Hallway smelt absolutely terrible!! Free internet was nice!

Comments: Had a super weekend at Inner Amsterdam. Met some really really cool people and I had a great time. Yet a small minus: the heating system was to high so it was very warm in the room (there was no switch to turn it lower). Super hotel but don't expect high comfort and sometimes the staff is a bit unfriendly. But it's very cheap and clean so that was enough for me.

Comments: I booked on the Internet but there was no bed allocated for me when I arrived (even if the reservation was indeed made). I had to go in a tiny room that was a little bit cold because instead of a normal window there was a grid and a plastic film that did not insulate cold (room 4). I asked for an extra blanket but I had to take one from a free bed because nobody gave it to me.

Comments: Room 4 is awful -it is like a corridor with a small ventilation grill with a rip in it - no window, but the staff were really nice and changed our room the next day and also did their best to block the hole for that night. The next room was lovely. Nice and warm, good shower room toilet, two big windows. Hostel v friendly and breakfasts were great. I would recommend it to friends-I'll just tell them to avoid room 4. Easy walking distance to supermarket and restaurants and all sights.

Comments: This hostel was very clean and my bed was more comfortable then my bed at home! The staff was nice. The location wasn't too bad, the trams are right outside and take you right to leidseplein or central pretty easily, so you could have a crazy night and then come back to a quite hostel to get a good nights rest. I would definitely go back there again...

Comments: The hostel was conveniently located, close to the trams and the main square. The staff at the reception was very nice, too. Handy having breakfast included in price. The only bad thing would be that terrible smell coming out of the bathroom, but was ok if u kept the door shut. I'd recommend this place if u wanna stay near by the centre

Comments: I thought that the hostel was great, especially when considering the price. We stayed in a private 6-bed room, which was incredibly clean when we arrived. The hostel was quiet, and the staff were more than helpful. My only concern lies with the fact that you must turn in your room key every time that you leave the hostel. It doesn't take more than a mention of your room number to pick up the key from the desk.

Comments: I was terribly disappointed with this hostel. Our room looked more like a prison cell with bulk beds. It was also dark, and the windows could not be opened to let in some fresh air. The walls are also so thin, that when our teenage neighbours in the room nearby were shouting and banging on our walls early in the morning, it felt like they were in the room. Location was good though. Cannot say anything about the breakfast since we decided not to risk it and skipped it.

Comments: Not a good place for a solo traveller. no real common room, out of the city, really really hard to find at first. near the museum platz. to get to downtown its a 15-20 min walk. would probably be okay if you were a couple looking for a quiet time, otherwise wouldnt reccomend it if your looking for the true amsterdam experience, the staff were really nice though.
