| Comments: I have been there for a couple of days. Stayed at a single room with twin beds and shared bathroom. There was a washbasin in the room and the common shower and toilettes were in excellent condition. I had W-LAN in my room, ,which was very useful in my case and the breakfast was pretty good. Also the fact you get free transportation ticket for the cities buses, trams etc is saving you money.I would definitely recommend it. |

| Comments: The location is great, it's quite close to the Old City and Kø. The breakfast is very nice, and the hostel itself is quite cozy. I'd definitely recommend it for a weekend stay, but taking an ensuite room is a clear plus. |

| Comments: The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. It is a place with a character. The breakfast was nice, too. The only problem was that there was no bath on our floor and we should go upstairs to take a bath. |

| Comments: An excellent budget hotel, helpful staff, reasonably easy to get to from the station. Probably one of the best value places I've stayed in and there's good porn on t.v.. Not far from the Alstadt (worth visiting). The hotel itself is very old with lots of character. Probably the best budget hotel in Dusseldorf... |

| Comments: It was my first experience with bed&breakfast, so I cannot compare. In general it was ok. The location is quite good, something like 10-15 minutes walk from the Central Train Station, and near to Old city. It was clear in room, and breakfast was ok. The stuff is friendly, but they know English really bad. So it was a problem for me. By the way one of chambermaid knows Russian (it really helped us). One more disadvantage is that everything is squeaking (doors, flow). The house is old and it makes more or less feeling that you are at home. I was unlucky, because I had loud neighbors. Walls are thin, and you can hear almost everything. My neighbors were watching some kind of erotic films and commented it. By the way they do have tv-sets in each room. As a conclusion, it is good place if you are looking for a place where to sleep, and you don't want to spend a lot of money. Good luck! |

| Comments: it's just like a big hold house. similar to the house in The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, but with stuffed animals and antlers covering the walls. walking distance from the train station, a tram also goes there too. showers and bed were both clean. a good little plave. |

| Comments: The hotel was wonderfully festive at Christmas time, which gave it a warm, hospitable glow. The decoration throughout was typically German, the breakfast was very substantial and the location very convenient for the S-and U-Bahn to Dusseldorf and further.
Cleanliness could not be faulted and the people were very helpful. We would go there again. |

| Comments: Hotel is 10min from the main train station and 15-20 from Altstadt. Staff is very nice and polite. The only unusal thing that happened is that we had to change our room although we were staying only for two nights. |

Would recommend! |

| Comments: My son and I stayed two nights to study brewpubs and altbier. The hotel is easy to find and the breakfast is good.As non-smokers we had to sleep with our heads as far from the curtains as possible. If we go to Dusseldorf again, we will probably stay at Hotel Haus Hillesheim again. |

| Comments: The Hotel Haus Hillesheim is a great place. Friendly staff, nice prices and nice rooms, superb location, everything with a genuine german feel!
I'll recommend it to everyone going to Düsseldorf and the Ruhrgebiet - the VRR-tickets included in the hostel price are quite superb. |

| Comments: This hotel was amazing! it's incredibly clean, the staff is uber friendly. They spoke English and we tried to speak in our broken German, but they were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The hotel has free internet, and ALSO has a free transportation pass that lets you get around Dusseldorf for free...which is incredibly helpful!
Their TV is amazing too, with two free porn channels :) ahahahaha
also, they had a nice breakfast with some pretty delicious bread, and peach juice! The location is also very central to a lot of main Dusseldorf sites, incuding the K21 a contemporary art museum that was incredible!
The inside of the hotel is also nicely decorated, and it makes you feel as if you are in an old German home!
LOVED this place! |

| Comments: Lobby & breakfast room characterful with folkart, hunting trophies, a great introduction to Germany.
A nice small hotel, not a party hostel, so recommended for those wanting more privacy etc.
Not too far from Hbf with Strassebahn on nearby main road to take you from HBf to the Altstadt & Ko |
