| Comments: Unfortunately no free wifi, poor breakfast, scary neighbourhood and also if you like tv, movies, common party rooms and so on - you won\'t be happy ;) But \'+\' for being close to the city centre, kind staff and cleanliness. Oh, and there\'s no problem with leaving your luggage before check-in and after check-out. |

| Comments: The location is a quite tricky to find in the beginning. Tips: From Barcelona airport take the shuttle bus(free) to Sants train station, then take the
Renfe train (free) to Plaza Espanya change to metro L3 to Catalunya, then change to L1, to universitat, take exit Pelai, walk to Sant Antoni road, at the second junction on left, is the Joaquin Costa road. On this road, it is quite run down, walk about 10mins, you will find the Hostal Gat Raval at no. 44. The service was good, no problem with shower and towels were changed and room cleaned everyday. Overall, location and service were good (24hr), near to La Ramblas but the road leading to the hostel was not so nice (quite mixed neighbourhood, and quite noisy). We took tapas at the Celler de Tapas restaurant just outside of this hostel (on Universitat road), beware of the buttered bread, which they served without being asked, and they charge you high cost (more than 4 euros for 4 thin pieces of bread!). Although overall the tapas were good, we will not go back again! We felt being cheated by this restaurant. |

| Comments: Location was great, near the center but not the safest part of Barcelona...
Internet is not included in price.
Breakfast is kind of ridiculous...
I think it costs too much for what you have....
But it's safe, it's clean and the staff is really great and helpful!!! |

| Comments: It is a very NOISY hostel - lovely rooms, clean and nicely decorated, but when one person is up and about in the morning, the others will, too. Apart from that I would go back any time. |

| Comments: The hostel was great, but there was no social room or anywhere to meet new people so i can imagine it being a little lonesome for someone travelling by themselves. |

| Comments: I stayed here Aug 18-23, around the same time as one of the other reviewers below. It was pretty decent -- in a good location, and once I figured out the metro, dead easy to get to. Staff were nice, and cleanliness was decent (except for maybe the bathrooms a couple days before I left). The only thing lacking for me as a single traveller was interaction with others at Gat Raval. I barely saw a soul. But I suppose if I wanted that I should have stayed in a hostel. The only downside: the internet. They charged 6.50 euros for a loaner laptop and one hour of internet time. There are two internet cafes on the same street for about 5.50 euros less. Decent place otherwise. |

| Comments: brilliant location - really central
Directions to hostel were only helpful until you reached the Universitat metro station - a map thereafter would be great! |

| Comments: We stayed in a room with a twinsizebed and a private bathroom. It was a small but nice room. The best thing was that they changed the towels and made the bed everyday. The breakfast wasn't what we swedish people are used to but since spain isn't a breakfast country you just have to accept that a muffin and a nescafe is ok.
The location is ok. it's near the shoppinstreets but you have to take the metro to get to the beach. |

| Comments: Excellent hostel for a quiet week away. More like a hotel than a hostel as they make your bed every day and give you a clean towel. Some of the rooms have nice little balconies looking over the street. Don't judge a book by it's cover, it looks dodgy from the entrance but it's pristine inside. The street noise can be annoying and the walls a little thin, but there is no such thing as perfect. |

| Comments: I really enjoyed my stay here. I had a single private room which was reasonably priced. the place was really clean and new. The room had a really nice style to it, Marcos was really friendly and helpful and provided me with a much better map than other places did (including the tourist office).
The breakfast was literally instant coffee, OJ and a muffin, but hey, it was pretty cheap.
Thumbs up! |

| Comments: The hotel was very clean and was in a great location in town. Minutes from the Metro and minutes from a lot of great restaurants and hot spots. It was lacking in creature comforts, but if you need a clean, safe, and decent place to stay I would highly recommend it. |

The difference in prices between toilet inside the room and outside is not justify
the price.
Service is good and the rooms is clean. |

| Comments: I loved this hostel! My luggage was lost for the first 2 days of my stay, and the staff talked to the airport for me and really helped me out while I was kind of freaking out about it. They always gave helpful advice about everything and really made my stay awesome. I would totally comed back here. |

| Comments: This place is super clean!... I dont know of the term "boutique Hostel" exists.. (like boutique hotel) but this place clearly hired some designers/architects to polish the site and make it cool. You can tell by the interior elements which are nice. The staff was absolutely amazing. Stay here! |
