Open 24/7 so no probs getting in/out at any time. the staircase adds a lot of character to the place and the security is very good. we left our stuff after we checked out so we didn't have to carry a lot of stuff around and had no probs with that either. highly recommend.

Cataluyna. It is very easy to find, but the building has no elevator and hostel is on 5th floor. It wasn't noisy at all, and stuff were ok. Breakfast wasn't huge but the coffee and the croissant were really good! :) I would recommend this hostel maybe sooner for couples then for people willing to have fun and party. Clean + free towels.

Water , in my opinion, is not potable but it's always hot, it's a very good thing. The rooms are very small but Barcelona is out of the Hostel. And the price is ok for the location. That is my only doubt - with all my heart I say it`s a good place for its price

(just 2 steps away from the Rambla and 2 minutes walking to the metro) Hygiene isn't there first priority, so don't expect a clean toilet or bath tub, in your (shared)bathroom. When you arrive prepare yourself for a lot of stairs (93 steps). For breakfast you'll get two croissants and something to drink. So to sum up, if you're looking for a cheap, central and basic stay, this is the place!

The only downfall is carrying your luggage up a few flights of stairs as there is no lift...good exercise though!
