The kettle poured dirty black stuff with the water. The bin had flies around it when we arrived. There was damp. And finally, we shared the apartment with mice who we noticed were eating our food. However, if like us you're students on the cheap who booked too late to get a hostel, and are going to amsterdam for the obvious fun then you could live with it. Upsides - it's in a good spot, and Eva, the owner is lovely.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Ireland 1st November 2005 Couple 18-24 2/5 Comments: I booked an ensuite double room but the toilet was outside the room in the main hallway! there were mice in the room. The paint was falling off the walls. all this aside, the location was excellent, in good walking distance of pretty much anywhere worth seeing in the city. on another note these apartments are not for the faint hearted we were only on the third floor but because the stairs are so steep you nearly need an oxygen mask half way up.
