| Comments: Very disappointed in the first room we were given (room 3) - mouldy shower and dangerous to get in and out of, tacky wall hangings stapled on, roof so low you nearly touch it, generally poor quality. extremely frustrated by the misleading information on rooms, and the vastly different quality of rooms all at the same room price rate. Not good value for the room quality at all. |

| Comments: The property was very well located for sightseeing and had a certain dilapidated charm like much of Venice. It is very quiet at night but if you like a long lie take your earplugs as the canals below the room get very busy with barges transporting everything imagineable from first light. The caretaker was very helpful, meeting us at midnight to guide us to the lodgings and giving us good travel tips over breakfast. |

| Comments: This is a wonderful old house and I love it. This place is fantastic and Nocholas is also a kind person, as well as his girlfriend. The breakfast is perfect. The only thing is the way out to Venice center - but anyway you will get lost there! :) |

| Comments: Quite a nice place to stay in Venise.
The owners are very kind, rooms are great, very romantic, and the area is very quiet.
The only problem was an overbooking, and we only learn it when we arrived.
We have to spend the last night in another hostel not to far. The owner book it for us, so we have nothing else to do, but unfortunately it was kind of crappy... |

| Comments: Fantastic breakfast, very friendly staff. Our room had a view right on a small canal (which is a bit noisy in the mornings but overall added to the romantic Venecian atmosphere). We've stayed in many hostels over the past couple of years but this B&B tops them all. More than excellent. |

| Comments: If youre looking for a 'fun' hostel this isnt the place for you as there are not many rooms so you dont meet people. but its excellent for a romantic holiday or with friends, the place is so cute and cosy! the staff is so friendly and helpful and go out of their way for you, the breakfast they serve (in ur room or common room) is also very good. location is perfect, safe area and very near the rialto bridge, st marcos square and shopping areas (5 min walk). the upstairs double bedroom with its own bathroom is the best! overlooks the canal as well |

| Comments: Wonderful service: as we arrived around midnight, the staff actually came out to pick us up in a large square, to save us the trouble of finding the place. Very generous breakfast, including cornflakes, omelette, toast, blood-orange juice, and other dainties. Splendid location in the old town, close to all the major attractions. Would definitely stay there again, and it's hard to imagine getting better value for money elsewhere. |

| Comments: The breakfast was great, the location was great, and not that hard to find, despite what you read here. Just understand that names of streets change in Venice a lot. Just print out a map and use the canals as markers. We ended up with a canal view which was great, and at a reasonable price for Venice. I would recommend again to anyone |

| Comments: Finally found this place - only to find it closed and we were moved to another site. This was the Scandinavia Hotel. 800 year old building - BREKKIE fair - but the hotel scores 100 PER CENT EVERYWHERE ELSE. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN. |

| Comments: Lovely helpful staff, very spacious room. A ten minute walk through small streets from Rialto Bridge. Looks very old from the outside but surprisingly good in the inside. Bathroom is spacious but with lots of salt damp, typical of many places in Venice though. Easy access from train via water vaporetto. Purchase of 72 hour water vaporetto was worthwhile in seeing sights. Watch out for flooding. Check high tide times with proprietor who is very helpful. You don't want to carry bags through one foot of water! |

| Comments: Initially the B&B was difficult to find - despite being sent detailed instructions. We only realised later that in Venice all buildings have a unique - and consecutive - number. This really helps you get around. Location was good for all exploring - approx 4 minutes walk to the Rialto Bridge.
We were made very welcome, the rooms are a good size, very clean, have excellent views and comfortable beds.
We would recommend this B & B - not least of all for its wonderful breakfasts - large, delicious and freshly cooked. We were still full at lunch-time.
Venice is wonderful and the Residenza del Doge is an excellent place to stay - and reasonably priced too. |

| Comments: More than I was expecting. Full B&B, gave us juice on arrival, full breakfast with fruit, yogurt, crepes, eggs, toast, juice, and coffee/tea. Clean, comfortable beds, overlooking canals from some rooms. Less than 10 minute walk to S. Marcs. A bit of a hike from the train station, but not a make or break decision on this hostel. For the price, we were very pleased. |

| Comments: I would really like to recommend this bed and breakfast. I was arriving late at night and the owner met me at the rialto stop which was fantastic as we would have been completely lost otherwise. Its true, the breakfasts are exceptional. Very friendly, very helpful. |

| Comments: Venice is beautiful. With its old buildings, narrow streets and canals is like a labirinth. But once you find your way this B&B is actually only 8-10 min walk from St Marc Square, and is in the hearth of Venice. The staff is very friendly and helpful (family run business) and they are there 24/7 if you need anything special. The breakfast is perfect to start your day. The rooms are huge and looking over the canal. So, if you go to Venice take comfortable shoes and a map with you. We can only recommend this B&B! Gracie! |

| Comments: We just stayed here for 1 night and everything was ok, the only thing that made us feel so unconfortable was the wife of the owner, she was always with a very bad mood and unhelpful.
But Niccola is a very nice and kind guy, thanks for your attention. |

| Comments: My friend and I loved staying here! It is brilliantly located between St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge and the staff are incredibly hospitable. We mainly chose the hotel on the strength of the great reviews of the breakfast and it didn't disappoint-warm croissants and bread rolls with jam or nutella, gorgeous omlettes, yoghurt, juice and tea or coffee-quite a feast! Some of the rooms have a view of the canal and the staff were very happy to reserve one for me so its worth asking. The only bad points were that the beds were quite hard (fine for me but not great for my friend) and there was a bit of peeling wallpaper but overall it is a gem of a hotel! |

| Comments: This bed and breakfast is an excellent place to stay while in Venice! It's located only a 5 minute walk from the Rialto bridge in the city center, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the palazzo in which it is housed is beautiful! Absolutely wonderful! |
