It was very cozy and like coming home instead of to a hostel. The dinner and cooked eggs for breakfast was a real treat. NOt something that you find in really any hostels at all! Thanks a bunch for the awesome stay. One thing...direction on which way to walk after taking the number 13 bus would be helpful on your site!

It was a bit of a hike but the great atmosphere and fun loving staff and people made up for it. My only suggestion to others would be to get to the Hostel early and claim a bed. One night during my stay they were overbooked and not everyone had a bed to sleep in. Otherwise, great people, great place, and dinner as well as breakfast was most often included!

Bacon and eggs for breakfast. Free map when you arrive with all the major attractions circled for you! If staying in Florence, stay at this hostel. The owner is a character and the other staff are freindly and helpful.

Lorenzo is great, he treats you like a friend staying at his house - and cooks breakfast and dinner! A little far out of town, but well worth the walk in.

They offer exceptional egg and bacon for breakfast as well as delicious salad and pasta for dinner. Its clean and tidy and there is free Internet you want to use. The only problems we had is that there is no air-conditioning. Its not too hot at night if we keep the window open, but then the traffic is too loud and makes it hard to fall asleep. However, considering the amount we have paid, it is still a good value.

Lorenzo and Frederico I will remember you forever. Breakfast was excellent every morning and in the evening there wasn't anything better than chilling with the other hostelers :-) Pretty walk to the center, comfortable beds. This hostel even inspired a Facebook group. I would return anytime xxx

I would recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in the Florence area. The great people there pointed out the best places for my group to see in Florence, and provided us with cheap but excellent dinner when we wanted it. The man in charge, Lorenzo, also called the two major museums there and got us reservations so we wouldn't have to sit in line for 2 hours. Overall, a great place, and I'll stay there the next time I'm in Florence.
