Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating Norway 1st June 2008 - - 2/5 Comments: this hotel is guarded by a small funny-man. he claimed to not speak english, demand greek and rant about respect from tourists. he did not believe my passport was real! and demanded further proof that i was me and wanted also the booking number, which i had not written down. with my previous 50+ bookings through trav this has not been needed once! i went to get it, but when i got back he did not accept even this, and threatened with police! enter this place at your own peril!

Our room reaked of cigarette smoke so badly we had to leave the doors open (which was very noisy). There was an old elevator to help with luggage, but nobody could be bothered showing us how to use it.

The only thing we didnt like about it, was the bathroom was not in the room. We also found a cockroach in our room. It was gross! Other than a couple of bugs. it was a good hotel. good for the price.

Nationality Stayed Gender Age Group Overall Rating USA 25th August 2006 Female 18-24 4/5 Comments: Hotel Myrto is the best place ever!!!! our receptionist was amazing...SO helpful and friendly and awesome. greece was the last place we stopped and i wish we could have stayed forever in this cute little hotel...every major attraction is about a 10 minute walk, if that, and you can get the best gyro's in town about a 5 minute walk away, and she is happy to tell you how to get there. i would stay at this hotel in a SECOND if i ever get to go to greece again! THANK YOU HOTEL MYRTO! you guys are the best!!! HIGHLY recommended, our number one hotel for the trip!!

However not accepting credit cards was inconvenient and they could have provided more tourist information; meaning more brochures, maps and being more proactive in outlining what tours etc we could book through the hotel. It would be better to have safes in the rooms and a more secure place to store luggage. Otherwise our stay was pleasant. PLEASE DO NOT PASS ON MY NAME JUST THE COMMENT. THANK YOU.
