| Comments: The owner, Francesco, of Hotel Etrusca runs his hotel like his own house, making guests feel comfortable with his great food recs., free access to internet and coffee and friendly nature. Check in is at 1:30 so arrive after that and if you need to check out early, settle the bill with him the night before. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and secure. |

| Comments: This hotel is great. Its location is ideal. Less than a 5 min walk to the center of town and the train station is right around the corner. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and not too small. As for the noise, can't really say there is much. The owner is super helpful, he'll show you where to go and point it out on the map if you have any questions. If you're on a budget this hotel is the place to stay at. |

| Comments: If you're looking for a "Hotel," this is not much more than a hostel experience. It is actually worse, because most hostels provide you with information about check-in or check-out. There was never anyone at the desk (when he was there, he was nice), but we had to check-out and almost missed our train because nobody was there to let us pay. Room was dingy. |

| Comments: The location was great and the beds were comfortable but the room was small and very loud. We could hear people in other rooms and everything going on in the lobby and the courtyard even late at night. Francesco was very helpful and friendly. There was a laptop to use for free internet. |

| Comments: Staff was very accommodating (when they were actually there). Room was basic but we were not given shampoo or toilet paper (I had to look in a hallway cabinet to find it). Two remotes in room only had one set of batteries to share between the two. |

| Comments: Has to be one of the loudest hotels I have ever stayed in. Spend the extra couple of bucks and spring for a bit nicer place if sleep is important to you. Staff was nice but had no vocal control and would yell at each other to converse. Can do better. |

| Comments: For what it is, this place is really an excellent value and place to stay. The place is very clean, even if yes, you may indeed wake up with a mosquito bite or two, and Francesco is endlessly helpful. I would/will definitely stay there again. |

| Comments: Hotel Etrusca is a very nice hostel with a great location. It is a six minute walk from Florence's main train station, Santa Maria Nouvella.
The rooms were clean and the staff fairly welcoming. Our room had an air conditioner which really helps out in the hot months! |

| Comments: I would highly recommend this place. It is central to all attractions. We were able to walk everywhere. It is approx 5 min walk to Statue of David. Very clean and secure. Staff are very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. I would definitely stay here again if in Florence. |

| Comments: we reserved a room with two twin beds and received a room with a double bed with a very poor mattress! the charge was the same as two twin beds, not sure if this was correct or not. the room was small. the bathroom was clean and close. the desk person made a phone call for a dinner reservation for us; she spoke some english, too. good for the price, wouldn't want to stay more than one night though. |

Francesco and Donna, the hotel receptionists, were the nicest most accomodating that we encountered on our trip. We felt so safe, it was clean, and they were very helpful and kind. | Comments: Francesco was awesome and really helped my friends and I out while we stayed there. He even looked up a good Mexican restaurant in the area that turned out to be really good if you are tired of italian food. The place was in a great location near the San Lorenzo markets, had an elevator and was very clean. We shared a bathroom and had no cleanliness issues. I would definitely recommend staying here. |
