| Comments: This place was absolutely horrible! It smelled like stale smoke/fish, the rooms were dirty and it was in the most unsafe area that I have ever been in Japan! Do not stay here! |

| Comments: A member of staff who identified himself as MASAMICHI was extremely rude to me. I have never met such a rude Japanese person before in my life and was quiet perplexed as to why he decided to attack me out of the blue like this.
Nobody in this hotel speaks any language other than Japanese. DON\'T STAY HERE. |

| Comments: My room was very stinky of stale cigarette smoke, it was disguisting.I finally ended up sleeping in my friends room on the floor as the smell was so bad. When I took off the covers to move them to my friends room, my foam matteress was all soiled, stained and looked like it was someone\'s urination pad.
The room was a smoking room a smokey film was left on the interior of the room it left a yellow tinge on the walls making it look very dirty. |

| Comments: Actually just a budget hotel, not a hostel at all. Rooms were nice and clean, but small (normal size for Japan). There are many cheaper options of similar quality in this neighborhood if you don't need a TV and aircon, just wander around, they all have their prices hanging out front. |

| Comments: Stayed here 5 nights in mid-april 2008. Only one shower for the entire hotel. We never saw a line though, most people go the the large japanese bath.
A little rough area, but convenient on the JR loop line and with local trains to Nara from the same station.
In total, an OK hostel, quiet, free WiFi throughout the place and computers in the lobby are nice. |

| Comments: just got back from JAPAN...the hotel was good but they have curfew from 24.30am - 6am and one bathroom but i think it\'s not that big problem . they provide 3 PCs connecting to Internet so that\'s useful! Hot water for instant noodle, washing machine and dryer...Vending machine inside the hostel is good idea. room is small but ok for 1 person and just sleep and go out..good location from Shinimamiya station |

| Comments: This hotel stank. My first room/floor semlt really bad, the wimdow doesnt open properly, the toilets are not that clean. I had to move room, but even my second room was not that good. They have a video player in their room, how outdated is that. I did not sleep in this place for even a night. I waould rather be out all night. Please dont stay here at this place. |

| Comments: The place offered great service behind the counter, the older man with glasses was nice and very helpful and put me at ease. For the price you get your own room albeit small with aircon and a tv and it`s proximity to the subway is very good. For the price good value. |

| Comments: This was the most disgusting accomodation I have ever stayed in - and I have stayed in over 100 different hostels/hotels. The area is seedy and dodgy - imagine the area in your hometown where the drunks and homeless people live. The whole neighbourhood smells and is filthy and broken. The hotel is a smoking hotel - in the lobby, the rooms - everywhere. I stayed in a single, Japanese style room and it reeked of smoke. It was disgusting. When I asked the clerk to change rooms, he smiled and handed me a bottle of Febreeze. It did not make a dent in the stench. Each room (there were a few of us staying there) has cockroach traps in every corner - I was fortunate enough to actually see over a dozen cockroaches on the floor of room - within the first 2 minutes of being in it. They did not provide blankets so I slept under my towel. There is a co-ed bathroom on each floor and they always seem to be filled with Japanese buisnessmen spitting and gargling. There is 1 shower in the entire hotel and thus, always a lengthy wait. Again, if there is room to sleep in the subway - do so, it's cleaner, has fewer bugs and smells much better. |

| Comments: Here is the deal. Dont stay here. Go to the metro that they say and then find a cheap business hotel in the area. The hotels are only 1600yen. Also, if you need internet, then just sneak into the hostel and use their free internet. Woops, my secret is out. |
