| Comments: The location is fantastic 5 min by foot from placa de catalunya and las Ramblas. The staff is very kind but speaks only Spanish. No breakfast included. Quite noisy place in the weekend. Wide triple room. Comfortable matrasses. The room floor, towels and linen looked not very clean but the bathroom was ok. It is the ideal place for people who wants to sleep only and pass the day visiting the city. |

| Comments: Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff. The room was even equipped with a mini bar and complimentary toiletries, something you do not get in an average youth hostel. |

| Comments: They speak spanish only. Beds are really not comfortable. We can hear the neighbours like if they are in our room. We saw a giant cockroach in our WC. Price are really expensive for what it is! Don't come here! |

| Comments: Goya is like a cheap hotel - the room is fine, towels and shower gel complimentary, but it's too narrow, everywhere and if your room is beside the inside well, it might be a little noisy. Warm though, nice (narrow) bathroom, nice staff and secure. |

| Comments: Idea location...the noise from the street was not that bad, we were offered an opportunity of changing room to the other side on the second day but we didn't think it's necessary. |

| Comments: Hi, we are very dissapointed. Basically they tried to build as many rooms as possible, so at the end the reception is 1 meter away from 3 bedrooms. Anytime someone speaks or even press the bell, everybody there hear it so it is almost imposible to rest properly. We felt insulted and these people should close these 3 bedrooms. do not go there if you want to sleep from 8 am. or from anytime.

| Comments: our stay in pension casa goya was good. the security was quite bad, as anyone could walk in the door. One morning we woke up to see what looked like a homeless person resting outside the hallway. From the outside the hostel looked really run down, but once you open the door to the reception it looks really classy and modern. You beep to get in.There is a wooden hatch on the outside,-it doesn't look like a hostel at all from the outside. The staff are really friendly and they provide new towels for you during the day when you are out. They also are helpful in leaving out rubbish etc.. Location was fab-right beside the metro and ramblas. |

| Comments: Great locations, close by to Universitat,to the metro stop and at walking distance to the most beautiful parts of Barcelona. Very clean. Staff really kind and helpful. Cheap and confortable. You can hear some noises during night because there's a night club next door, but, believe me, it is not bad at all. |

| Comments: This was the second place I stayed in, after three nights at Pelayo Studios guest house. I wouldn't stay here again. I chose it on the recommendation of other trav users, which have been great in my experience, but not so in this case. The foyer of the building is derelict, there is not other way to describe it - one of my girl friends who stayed here the first night flatly refused to go into the building until me and another friend checked it out. the floors of the two rooms we stayed in were not carpeted (which presumably means they're easier to clean) and were filthy. Filthy as in, when you're wearing socks they turn black with dirt and you feel particles under your feet. The bathroom was small, but that's been the case everywhere else we've been, but because I new how mingy the place was I didn't want to touch anything which made it feel even smaller. the toilet was clean as far as I could tell. both showers (in either room) had this green mould on the shower heads which was completely off-putting, so much so that my girl friend did not shower while she was staying there. The minibar was well stocked at reasonable prices, although, I just bought my own stuff anyway and put it in the bar to cool. The staff are very nice and friendly, they don't speak much English, but all in all I could not recommend this place, amd I would not stay there again. Dollar for dollar, I think your money is better spent at Pelayo Studios, around the corner, although they have their own issues. (the staff are never there when they say they will be, esp if you arrive after 9pm, but the place was very nice, clean, and provided a little fully functional corner ktichen (with stove, fridge, sink, cupboards and evem a fold away kitchen table, all from IKEA, lol) and a few pots and pans, plates and cutlery for you to use. See my review...). Girls, don't stay here if you don't want to feel mingy the whole time you're in your hotel room... |

| Comments: Hotel is really close to the city center which is perfect. You just leave the airportbus at Universitat and there you are. It's clean and basic for a fair price. Staff is super friendly but I needed hands and feet to make me understood because they don't speak english. It's a bit loud in the morning. I would definitly stay there again. |

| Comments: Well, it was a strange experience. The building is awful, old and decreipt - I almost didn't go in. The door on the first floor with simply printed-out words "Pension" stuck on them didn't promise much either. The moustachioed woman in the tiny "reception" glass box didn't speak much English, but she tried her best, and was friendly. And when she showed me to my room (singe, with an ensuite bathroom), I was pleasantly surprised: there was a fully stacked minibar, a possibility to make coffee, there was even a full toiletries set in the bathroom. In short, everything you might find in a nicer hotel. The floor was dirty, but if you don't insist on walking barefoot, it shouldn't be a problem, and everything else looked really clean. It was strange, but in the end I felt really comfortable. |

| Comments: The location of the hostel is very central, metro station is just around the corner. Rooms are basic but nice, very positive was the little fridge with drinks which were really cheap. Bathroom was clean. Unfortunately the staff didn't speak english at all. All in all I would stay there again. |

| Comments: The Hostel is well located about 10 mins from the main placa catalunia and la rambla. and a minute from Mero Universariat station. The bed was old but much cumfier when we turned the matress over. We didn't find it too noisey but brought ear plugs from a local Framacia for only 1.90 euro. Great shower, the mini bar was well stocked and cheap, although the supermarket was cheaper (though check the contents on arrival as we were charged for some peanuts we didn't eat but it was only 30 cents! Its clean, well located and very safe, the staff are spanish and friendly despite our language barrier- a phrase book helps. The one downside was the night staff or guests smoking in reception came under our room door and we had to use a blanket to block it out. Price and location made up for it. |

| Comments: Basic - don't be put off by the entrance! We had a double room with bathroom and it was very comfortable. Staff don't speak any English, but we mnaged to make ourselves understood! There was a free safe in the room and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel for free on our last day, while we looked around. |
